It's the BEST place to stay if you're looking for somewhere budget friendly. Location is GREAT. Its about 20 minutes from The Circle, & conveniently has both a gas station & a Neighborhood Walmart directly across the road.
For over 6 years now, we've stayed here EVERY time we go to the beach, whether it's just me & my husband, or with our 5 kids. It's hard finding places that can accommodate us as "large" family... most places only have rooms with 1-2 beds & just a microwave. But HH has many rooms with pullout couches ((that are actually really comfy 🙌🏼!!)) & we LOVE the full (modern) kitchens they have.
The owner is an AWESOME guy & has always been very accommodating, making sure we have the perfect room to fit our needs.
I'll admit, as a CONSTANTLY anxious person (especially when it comes to my children's safety), I was very nervous the 1st few times we stayed, just because it's an older, low priced motel, & has a handful of extended residents who like to hangout outside their rooms, or with their doors open. But after staying so many times over the past few years, I can admit I was absolutely wrong in my judgement. We've never been "bothered" or approached by ANYONE. But anyway...hope this longggg review helps & that whoever reads it enjoys their stay!! ❤

Nice quaint rooms... Efficiency Suites with Kitchen and Full Sized Appliances... separate sitting area between bedrooms and Kitchen/TV area...

The lady who runs it was always nice and helpful we had a nice repor I have stayed ther for years every weekend during the summer. Rooms clean one time we changed rooms was too Smokey I wanted smoke free room. Love kitchen and having pots pans utensils and all you bring if fiid and your clothes never ever had a problem.

Great place to stay if working

Great rooms, staff are very helpful, full kitchen. I have read past reviews and these rooms were nothing like some have said. Rates are very reasonable and I would recommend this place to anyone. They have several washes and dryers. Great experience

THE WOMAN WHO RUNS THE MOREHEAD LOCATION IS RACIST AND A LIAR!! She said I only needed my I.D. Got there with my husband and said he needed his I.D something she didnt mention over the phone. You can tell she did not want us to have that room I guess my voice was proper enough but I had the wrong skin color lol anyways the one in newport is honestly the best hotel I've stayed in, in a while dont know if they remodeled the rooms (based on other reviews) but I love mine. 2 beds, a pull out couch. Full kitchen and walk in closet for 70 bucks a night isnt bad! Plus Walmart and speedway is right across the street and there is a laundry room on sight. Unlike the other location the staff is polite,informative and actually made me my husband and 2 kids feel very welcome and taken care of. 5 * for sure.

I HAVE BEEN HERE OVER A YEAR I HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THE WAY I'VE BEEN TREADED. WHEN I HAVE NEEDED SOMETHING I HAVE GOTTEN IT.WHEN I WAS SICK AND OUT OF WORK FOR A FEW WEEKS AND GOT BEHIND ON MY RENT THEY UNDERSTOOD AND WORKED WITH ME. I WOULD TELL INTY ONE THAT NEEDS A PLEASE TO STAY THIS IS IT
