This was our first visit to the park. We came the first week of October after peak season was over and it was the perfect time for us. It was not crowded in the park or on the beach. The grounds were clean and maintained very well. Every staff person we met was friendly and easily accessible if we had questions. We did not need to use the bath or laundry facilities so I can't comment on those. We reserved an end spot closest to the beach in the yellow section and it was super easy to get in and out of and the check-in/check-out process was a breeze. You can't beat the location! We will definitely be back.

Awesome mini vacation and will definitely be back. We were at the front of the red section with only the dune separating us from the beach, so it was a short walk. The park is super clean and maintained. We rode bikes even though somewhat hilly and our big lab enjoyed playing in the ocean and meeting fellow fur people. Be sure to ride over to Beaufort and walk along the waterfront.

I wouldn’t typically do a review part way through my week, but this place is amazing! We were greeted by Andrew, one of many kind staff members that we have been fortunate enough to interact with. Our location is so close to the beach, I don’t even wear shoes to get there. It’s so clean. I bet this is the nicest place my husband and I have stayed in the past couple years of camping.
Personally, I love that there are quiet hours and no public alcohol displays. Instead, the campground has many families and retirees with well-kept campers and trailers.
GREAT experience!!! Very pleased. Worth the money!

Nice and well run campground. A little tight, unhook your towed before you enter the campground proper. Friendly neighbors, ultra safe neighborhood. Hilly in there, you'll need to level your rig but our site didn't have an extreme or irregular slope. Grass sites but it's good grass, no stickers. Bring your bikes, great place to ride regardless of skill level; you can ride two miles or twenty and it's all good. The beach is fabulous of course. Food is nearby but diesel with big rig access isn't, so fuel up before you step off. Quiet, most of the time. You'll occasionally have USMC Harriers doing touch-and-goes at the auxiliary field next door; just grab a beer and enjoy the air show. Heck, that's about the coolest part of staying here, if you ask me.

Came here over labor day weekend to camp and go to the beach. This place has the nicest bathhouse I've ever been in while camping. Water was warm and it was always clean. I really appreciated the air conditioning. Really cold, but prevents sweating while getting dressed. My family and I have been to lots of states and campgrounds over the years and it was one of the nicest places we've been. If you're looking for a place close to the beach with lots of activities in the campground and nearby this is it. We will definitely be back.

The rv slots are on the narrow side but there are many upsides to this place. The bathrooms are super clean and have great AC in the summer. The pool is great with lots of chairs and shade structures. The ocean is really just steps away and there is plenty of room on the beach. More important to me.....I felt my kids were safe to ride their bikes and go get ice cream in the park without me.

Great experience!
We had reservations and then my son broke his arm. They were very helpful and understanding letting us hold a credit for a year so we could still call with them. After finally making it to the campground we were very impressed with the bath houses and the ground in general, very clean and new. We love camping within walking distance of the sandy beaches. We will return. Great visit!

Holiday Trav L Park Resort is a great value. My husband and I have a small RV and the only way I will go "camping" is in the RV to the beach with full hook ups. This year however our water must have frozen during the cold snap over the winter and my hubby was out of commission with a shoulder injury and surgery so he wasn't as mindful to make sure the water was out of the system. Alas we arrive at the resort with no running water. Luckily the bath houses at the campgrounds are ultra nice, cold, and smell wonderful. It's location right on the beach and lots of places to eat make it our go to place for our yearly beach pilgrimage. Now that vacation is over the hubby has to fix the water issues. The staff are great and everyone is always so friendly.

As first time RV’ers we had such a great experience. The park, bathrooms, and property was very clean and pleasant. There’s a great little playground that our toddlers were able to enjoy. Lots of things to do walking distance (ice cream, pizza, go carting). Also a short walk to the beach (we were in the red zone). Very family friendly. We will come here again.

We have stayed here many times and have always been pleased. The grounds, equipment, facilities, and bathrooms are well maintained. Everyone is always working and doing something, they wave a lot. It is under new owners, which is more corporate, so I hope they maintain the hometown feel. We had a security issue with a vehicle while we were away, so we called and they responded immediately by checking it and called us back quickly. We will continue to stay here.

My first time staying there the people were very friendly and super helpful always willing to do anything they can to make your stay memorable. I start out as a tent down and 17 and they move me up to 37 a and it was a wonderful trip walking distance to the beach. The bathrooms were super clean and very nice, they come by and pick up your trash every morning and the people around the world easy to get along with an excellent company I will go there again and it is an excellent place for your family and very easy to get in and out

We stayed on the tent only sites and they are TINY. We could fit our core instant tent, parked car, and golf cart with ZERO walking room. Though our tent is big even w a much smaller footprint you will only gain feet to hang out in. With that said there was almost no one in the tent sites so that was nice. Had they been booked it would have been so stressful being crammed in.

The amenities are really nice. The bath house was amazingly clean (like cleanest I’ve ever had camping). Showers were really hot and had plenty of extra space to change. The beach access was perfect with outdoor showers to rinse off sand from you, the kids, dogs, and gear! We didn’t use the pool but it looked great!

It was very quiet at night even on a holiday weekend. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful, though one gentleman working the desk was a bit terse with everyone though very knowledgable.

If I had an RV I’d prob come again, but the tent sites were just too too small to really be any fun. The tent/small RV sites (1-15) did look much larger but you couldn’t book those on a holiday weekend.

Tons of kids riding bikes, playing stick ball etc. which was fun to see.

I'm a little obsessed. This place is amazing. I had one of the least desirable tent camping spots and it was GREAT so it only goes up from there. We loved the live music. Walk to food, mart, go-carts and especially the ocean. The pool is beautiful. Facilities are second to none. Clean. Beautiful. Amazing customer service. 👌 This is the place to be.

This is hands down the place to be! If you have kids you cannot find a better location for activities and amenities…we have stayed multiple times and nowhere holds a candle to HTP…. Unmatched cleanliness and helpful nice staff.. can’t wait to be back!

We are new to the rv camping, only three years in now, and we do enjoy it. Now when we want to relax we generally like to do so away from alot of people and the touristy areas. Last August we learned about Emeral Isle and visited using a condo about a .75 of a mile from the HTP resort. We took the time to investigate the park then and booked this year's stay. Initially when getting to the beach and parking the RV i was a bit nervous bc of the smaller sites and beach being a bit more crowded.

BUT... all of the guest were so friendly. Any roudiness and fun had at night ended at the assigned time for peaceful evenings. It was a respectful family resort and since my wife and I have no kids we enjoyed the great behavior and mindfulness of all the families through out the beach and park.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay here as usual. The staff are always friendly and the bath houses updated and clean. We plan to return in the near future.
