Holiday Inn Express & Suites Havelock NW-New Bern, an IHG Hotel

The staff at check in were amazing and fast. The hotel is very clean and well appointed. The pool is indoors and open. They have a nice fitness center as well. The breakfast was ready even before 6:30am and the woman setting it up did a great job.

One of the best stays I've had at a hotel! The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Absolutely the kindest and most caring staff I've met. Stayed for a week. Breakfast was wonderful every day. All of the shifts continued to make fresh coffee throughout the day. Really cool aviation museum right behind the hotel. I will definitely be using this hotel again.

The best hotel we have ever stayed at!! All the staff were really very nice, friendly, and helpful especially Ray!! She was so very sweet especially to our baby💜The rooms are so clean too!! Their breakfast spread is amazing!! Any time we’re in Havelock this is the only place we will stay at💜

The staff is super friendly…the hotel is pet friendly…the rooms are warm and inviting…and you can’t beat the price! Highly recommended if you happen to be in the area, and need a place to stay overnight. Plus, there is an excellent Mexican Restaurant within a couple hundred yards just in the front of the hotel….and the continental breakfast at the hotel is one of the best I’ve experienced!

Hands down amazing customer service! We had to stay here for a basketball tournament over the weekend. The employees were beyond helpful and patient with our large group. Would definitely stay here again just based the customer service.

We enjoyed our stay here so much. The rooms were clean, comfortable and we had great service. The food was great. There is a pool indoors as well. We will be back. They provided us a place to stay while enjoying time with family. Thanks for everything.

I have stayed here a few times..Very good service and clean rooms. If you have an issue they will take care of it... Rae is exceptionally helpful!!!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Havelock, NC. September 22 to September 24. The morning of the 23rd we lost power due to tropical storm Ophelia. The manager on duty at that time, Ashley, was very helpful and reassuring with the guests during this stressful time. She made what could have been a really bad experience into a good one just by the her example of professional and compassionate management of the situation.

This review is long over due! So i apologize for that. This hotel is on my truck route so i am a weekly customer. Their employee Paul literally is the only reason I continue to stay there every week. He makes that hotel! He always go above and beyond to make sure my stay there is a perfect one. I have a negative run in with someone the different shift, soon as i see Paul he makes sure you forget that earlier experience with his personality and just over all humility. Long as Paul’s there, they will ALWAYS have my business. Thanks Paul!! Keep killing it!

We had an amazing experience here. The lobby was beautiful and tidy, the front desk clerk Paul was very hospitable and accommodating, and the room was large and clean. It was a very pleasant stay, and we'll gladly return if we're in the area. Thanks to all for the great experience!

My hotel stay was absolutely amazing at the Holiday Inn. Firstly, what got my attention was the warm and welcoming staff. Ashley and Paul were amazing that were accommodated to my needs while I stayed. They even recommended great places to eat that was nearby the hotel. Secondly, the cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding the staff there do a great job. I would definitely stay again at this hotel. Thanks again to the amazing staff members Ashley and Paul you too definitely made my stay worthwhile.

The staff were nice and friendly to us. Rooms were so clean. The breakfast was more than I expected.

The entire staff were amazing. Especially Holly. She went above and beyond to accommodate us while were in town for a family emergency. She understood what we were going through and was there to meet all of our needs. I'm so grateful for her compassion to complete strangers. Another staff member even did our laundry at no cost to us. It's good to feel humanity still in a crazy world we live in. I'm forever thankful!

Beds were wonderful and rooms were awesome and clean. Lady that was at the desk was wonderful and extremely helpful

We loved our brief stay here. In for a beach wedding, was accommodated with a requested early check in to dress & go. Room was in excellent condition. Blow dryer and iron both needed and worked!!! They had fresh coffee at 1 am when we checked out. Early morning flight out if Raleigh-Durham. We'll be back when we can stay longer and enjoy and explore the area.Staff was friendly both coming & going.

The staff was extremely friendly and all very helpful. The entire hotel was very clean. Breakfast was very good - I really like the pancake machine! I've never seen one of those before. Although they're kind of, it's still faster than a waffle maker at some other hotels and much less messy. The pancakes were very tasty! I feel like the rooms have been updated recently, ours had a modern feel. We had a full kitchen with a full size fridge and dishwasher in our king size room that we were totally not expecting. My aunt and uncle staying next door did not, they had a more typical mini fridge, but still had a microwave. Both rooms very very spacious though. We had a king and they had a king with a pull out sofa. I'm sure the other rooms have different amenities (depending on the room), so please don't go in definitely expecting this in your room based on this review but my point is that it a really nice hotel.

Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful! First night I arrived, I encountered a problem and the front desk lady helped resolve what the problem was! Room is very spacious and clean. Breakfast is delicious! Definitely recommend!

Hotel staff was courteous, helpful and professional! Lobby, rooms and hallways very clean and attractive. I wish I knew what the air fresher is that is used in the lobby!! Bathroom showers are worn but still clean, beds comfortable!!! Breakfast staff was great! We will definitely be staying here the next time we are in town.

I had a last minute trip nothing was planned and it was short notice. So i called Holiday Inn Express because i saw such amazing reviews. When i called Rick was extremely courteous and helpful. Upon my arrival, Rick also checked me in and his customer service was even more pleasant in person. Emily and the other young ladies working the front also had superb customer service thru out my entire stay. The bed was comfy my room was very nice. Very highly recommended. I will be staying again.

The staff here is very hospitable. Amanda James went above and beyond to make sure our room was pleasant. Her willingness to accommodate our family needs made me ask her if she was in management and to my surprise she stated she was not. It feels so good to stay at a place where people enjoy providing customer Service. I can't fail to mention Ashley, the morning server for breakfast, she was a friendly face to see first thing in the morning and Rick Ward on the night shift was very kind as well by going above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyment. Thanks Havelock, NC Holiday Inn Staff for a great weekend. Please continue to be great!
