Hampton Inn Havelock

All employees went out of their way to be very helpful and courteous. This is the only Hampton we've been to lately that actually gave us our Hilton Honors benefits. They even cleaned our room without us requesting it. Great experience!

Staff was friendly and helpful, room was very clean and comfortable, solid breakfast. Clean and simple hotel.

Star took great care of us and made us feel like we were at home. What a gem of a person and excellent staff.
The room was clean and the AC was awesome. No bells or whistles or the price that comes with that. Thanks for the great stay.

Every employee I ran into was polite, cheerful and enjoyed their job. Breakfast was very good. Room was super clean

I give 5 stars just for Angela the lady at the front desk. When you walk in and she greets you with a smile and genuine kindness that makes all the difference! We had a few issues with the ice machine and refrigerator but the fact that Angela was such a ray of sunshine made all the difference. The pool was great. Breakfast was great. The room was lovely. Great hotel and within walking distance to a few restaurants. My room was ready when I arrived, about 2 hours ahead of the check in time. I was able to check in with no issues. Complimentary breakfast is a plus. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Had a dead car battery and the maintenance lady tried to help me out. When it wouldn't jump, the kindest front desk lady took me to autozone and back (twice) to charge it there and then to get a new one. Excellent service and kind people

Room was clean, plenty of towels; coffee maker and iron not there best, but functional. Refrigerator, clean and worked properly. Nice television with a wide variety of channels. Good breakfast selection, with employee servicing meals (covid protocols in place). Can ask for seconds. Clean environment! Great stay!

I usually do not leave reviews. However, this property beat all of our expectations. We were greeted when we first walked in. The room was very clean. The two different breakfast attendants on each of the days of our stay were very friendly. The checkout was quick and easy. Overall a great visit!

The room was large, clean, nicely furnished, and wasn't musty at all. The bed was entirely too soft for my liking, but that's a chance you take when you stay in a hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good too! We'd stay again without hesitation.

We stayed here last year at the end of July beginning of August for 2 nights. It was amazing. We were on the 3rd floor, The rooms were clean. Beds were so comfortable. Which is a huge relief because of my back pain. One of the workers saw us at the pond by the pool and brought us crackers to feed the turtles, my son really enjoyed that. Only thing I would recommend is bring your own cream and sugar for you room. Coffee and coffee maker was provided by the hotel but no cream or sugar. Also keep in mind it may take up to 2-3 days before the money comes out of your account for the payment on the room. I wish we could stay here again this year, but the prices have went up A LOT since our last visit.

Nice comfortable hotel with great friendly service! Building is within close proximity to dining and shopping in the town of Havelock as well as being just a few minutes drive from the Croatan National Forest and other outdoor recreation opportunities.

Friendly staff! I always feel welcome here. Most of the front desk staff know me and make me feel at home from the moment I walk in the door. The rooms are also clean every time, which can’t be said about some of the other hotels in the area. Only complaint is the wifi can be hit or miss in some rooms. Besides that I have nothing but good things to say about the Hampton.

Stayed here during a last minute trip for a funeral. The staff was super nice. We had our 2 year old granddaughter with us and needed some milk on arrival around 9 pm. I was prepared to go back out to a local store but she said "No, I will take care of it." They were old in the lobby store so the clerk went into the breakfast area and got me a cup of milk. I was so grateful not to have to go back out, I was super tired.
Then the next day around 11 am, I was ironing my black pants and couldn't find my lint brush. I went to the front desk to get one from the store. Unfortunately they had sold the last one the day before. The girl working the counter (a different girl from the night before), said, "Wait a minute, I think I have one in my bag." She did, and allowed me to use the last bit of her disposable lint roller.
2 separate ladies at 2 different times went above the call of duty to make sure I was a happy guest. I really appreciate these ladies and I'm sorry I didn't get their names but I stayed there on June 2-3 2021.

Our stay was extremely nice! Our room had large comfortable beds and was spacious. The front desk lady named Angela, was fabulous! So nice and sweet, she answered all my questions and made me feel very welcome. Highly recommend staying here.

"If you need a break from life or need to go to a crazy or nut house come here. We will take care of you and it's less expensive but straight jackets not included".

Immaculate hotel with courteous staff! Due to working on base at Cherry Point, I've stayed here during the week for the past 6 months and I currently still am. Im proud to call this my home away from home and would gladly recommend it to anyone and everyone each and everytime!

I truly had a wonderful stay with my husband for our 21st anniversary. The visit was one that I hope that we have the opportunity to experience again, soon. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious. The price was awesome. Everyone was more than hospital, but friendly as well. I didn't want to leave. We felt like we were home. Good job Hilton, keep it up.😂

If you're traveling in the area it's a very good hotel to stay at. Definitely well cleaned during COVID times - and the staff were helpful. This isn't the newest or fanciest Hampton out there, but it's definitely clean.
Biggest note I have is they shifted their breakfast time a bit later and didn't inform me prior to my arrival. While I don't think it would have affected my hotel selection, it did mess with my schedule a bit. In COVID the breakfast is starting at 6:30am, not 6am.
