Love the new gym and all the new equipment they’ve added! As always the coaches and atmosphere are great, everyone is so welcoming and encouraging. Definitely recommend if you’re just dropping in on vacation or if you need a new home gym.

Great gym, great people, and a great workout! We’ve only been attending classes for about two months now but it feels like longer- we’ve always felt comfortable and welcomed by not just staff but everyone else attending the classes too. Couldn’t recommend CFEI and Boneyard Barbell more!

Absolutely Love CrossFit Emerald Isle. From the coaches, to the equipment to the community. CFEI is a great place to get a workout in and get fit.

We come here every year on vacation. The owner is great: responsive, knowledgeable, welcoming. The new location is awesome- easy parking, spacious inside. Has a great variety of equipment including 2 lifting platforms with Olympic bars, 2 benchs, power racks, plus the usual large CrossFit rig. Also rogue echo bikes. The classes are well run but if you want to do your own programming you can and just use the equipment. Overall, they are very accommodating and the 1 week pass gives you 24 hour access. We would definitely join if we lived in the area.

CFEI offered a welcoming atmosphere and great scaling options for people with injuries and mobility limitations. I will most certainly be coming back whenever I am in town for the weekend!

Spent a week here doing their 5am classes while on vacation and absolutely loved the culture of the gym as well as the knowledge and motivation they offered. We go to Emerald Isle every year and I will absolutely be back.

dropped in while i was in town for a wedding. friendly athletes, good coach. The location isn't anything nice or special, in fact, it might be one of the 'dumpier' boxes i've been too, but don't let it detract from the fact that i got a GREAT workout and had fun doing it. If you're in town, hit them up and do a drop in!

I was on vacation last week and stopped by this box for a morning WOD. The coaching was friendly and excellent, with a really thorough warm up with nice accessory work. The vibe here was cool and the T-shirt and beer coozies have that cool kraken (mean looking squid) on them. This was my best souvenir shirt from my OBX trip and a very nice memory from my vacation. I've already started recommending CrossFit Emerald Isle to my friends at my home box for when they are in the area.
