MCCS Cherry Point Two Rivers Theater & Event Center

I have nothing but praises for MCCS Auto Skills Center. The Staff and facility are second to none. The Service completed was Headlight Restoration and it was worth every penny. I own a 2005 Dodge Magnum RT and my Headlights were in need of replacement, until I was approached by the Manager. He spoke highly of the Restoration Service and the Tech that would be performing the service. WELL his level of EXCELLENCE speaks through his work. I AM more than pleased with the outcome. Again, I want to thank MCCS Auto Skills' Professionals for all that they do to keep things running smooth.

The price is right, provided you have a military ID. Concession is reasonably priced. It's spacious, so you can sit where you prefer. Go have a nice dinner, then see a good movie of interest.

We have had two movie birthday parties here at the theater and they have been wonderful! My son had a Jurassic World party recently. It is only $10 per kid and includes unlimited popcorn and drinks. I think there is a minimum charge of $100. They offer them on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 to 1 pm. I just got pizza delivered from Pizza Hut, and we were set! It ended up being cheaper than other places we have rented, and we weren't rushed out the door. They even put up the Jurassic World poster for us. I highly recommend!

Access restricted most of the time to Service Members, Military Retired, and Base Employees for any movies or events. Occasionally, there is public access for special events such as the recent Christmas Concert by the 2nd MAW Band. Prices for tickets is very cheap comparatively. Refreshments, popcorn, candies, and such are provided at a very reasonable cost and the value is tremendous. The theater is large and the sound and screen are heard/viewed from any seat. Seats are padded and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The current building is great, but construction has started on site for a newer and better complex with multiple screens/stages for more variety. I always have a grand experience at a reasonable (sometimes free) cost.

Great movie but the theater was freezing inside. This takes away from enjoying the movie. Even during the Christmas band event, the room was quite cool but the room was full with people at that event. Not so much during the movie which was a different day. Wish they could moderate that better. Bringing your blanket from home should not be the answer

I use to come here while growing up in Havelock and you can’t beat the prices. They also sell beer and wine and it’s all very reasonably priced. The renovations look great and is a huge upgrade from the 90s. While they do only have one screen, it takes up the whole stage so all the seats are great seats!

I love how affordable it is to take the whole family there. The popcorn, food, drinks and candy are extremely cheap. The movie theater is huge with plenty of seating & parking. There are private sound proof rooms for families with crying, fidgety or fussy children. The bathrooms are very clean. The employees are friendly and ready to serve. It comforting to be in an safe environment for my family!

Lover of movies. Invited by some ladies from the job. Nice. We had a good time. Can't beat the price. Had pretzel which wasn't bad. Very large auditorium.

You simply cannot beat this deal. Not just for the movie, the concession food as well. If you are an enlisted service member or simply work on base, it's worthwhile waiting for the base theater to get a movie in you want to watch. The sound and movie quality is excellent. Never crowded.

Best value around. First run movies at little to no cost. The snack bar prices can not be beaten. If are serving or served you earned this value. So use it, My family and grandkids do all the time.

Great large facility. Great, friendly folks. Current & older movies. Inexpensive tickets. No real changes except parking lot is being torn up & replaced. Still the same.

Really enjoy going to the events here! My favorite is when the Marine corps band plays and when they host the guitar pull. Such amazing staff and always so organized for events. Thanks for all you do!

Absolutely love this theater. Prices are great. Great meal and snack choices and prices. Sometimes it's like being in a meat locker, so come prepared with Jackets and possibly a blanket.

Great prices for movies and snacks and friendly staff. The theater is also clean and has pretty comfy seats.

Glad to see movies with national anthem before. Eternals and Ten Rings were good. Buy large popcorn and get a free refill!

Two Rivers provides multiple movies and community events that host a variety of styles of entertainment. They host annually the publically available 2nd Marine Corps Air Wing Christmas Concert, Guitar Pull, Christmas Concerts.

Mostly events are limited to personnel that have access to the facility.
