Onslow County Parks: Hubert By-Pass Park

Absolutely my favorite park near Jacksonville, NC. The park is always so clean and well maintained. This park has better landscaping than the new developments in town. They don't pay the park crew enough. Absolutely beautiful place for picnics and for family gatherings/exercise/children playdates

Love that we could bring our dogs and walk the trails then let the kids play at the playground and have an eating area to sit and have lunch at. We had a blast the few times we've been so far. Definitely going back.

My favorite place to walk however since it's getting darker earlier I may have to chance locations.

My family and I enjoy this park often. It is always our first choice! There is a variety of things to do for the whole family. From soccer and basket ball to multiple sized playground sets for all ages. Plus Pokémon go for us adults! Thank you!

We go every Saturday at 10 am to play basketball. It is a great time and the trees around the court keep the sun away.

Great place to take the kids to play. Very safe, the playground is fenced so the kids can't run out of the play area. The park has swings, 2 different climbing gyms with slides and activities to keep the kids busy. There is a rocking car, lots of sand and they have rest rooms near the picnic area. This is our favorite place to go play.

Very clean, fenced in, sand, well maintained equipment. The trails are nice and the park is shaded by trees. There is many picnic tables and a little lending library.

The park is right off the main road and just a lovely place to stop. It is wonderfully maintained. The pavilion can be reserved for gatherings, there is a playground, soccer fields, and restrooms. It's a perfect place to stop is you have a good book and some time to kill.

For a walker or runner the advertisement doesn't tell enough, there's a well maintained walking and separate running trail, very shaded for the hot days. One can easily get over a mile of travel while remaining shaded. Best park yet in the area for exercise and solace, park also comes with other exercise equipment for strength training, great park.

It's usually clean and kept up. They have a few picnic tables and small grills to cook on. There is a covered pavilion with picnic tables near one set a bathrooms.

Great trails for short hikes and runs. The trail system is well maintained with lots of benches along the way, as well as some shelters. The western trail has some signs that teach about various trees in the area, good for kids!

Awesome park, perfect for our 2 year old! It’s very clean and well maintained! Also has some nice trails we like to walk our dogs on!

The playground is fenced in, shaded and the bathrooms are super clean. There is a lot of room for the littles to run around. In addition to the playground there is a volleyball net, basketball court, and soccer goals.

Clean, quiet, nice small trails. Pet baggies and trash cans are provided along each trail. Nice little area for a bday party too!

Love these trails. Well maintained. The nature trail also offers education about the local plants.

Aloha! a very beautiful park with clean facilities.. a great place to bring the family or just go for seclusion and just read a book!

Though the park is near a highway, there is peace and serenity in the wood-sie area. You'll also meet friendly people along the way 🌞🌈🌻🌹🌿🌼🦋🌾.
