Ted's Café Escondido

Ted’s is one of our local favorites. Always get the Atomic salsa and their made in house flour tortillas they are delicious. I had stopped in for lunch and thought I could tackle the sheet pan nachos. Wow it’s a lot of nachos that were tasty and filling that I could not finish so had enough for dinner. The service is usually over the top and very attentive. If in the area give them a try.

I've been coming here since I moved to OKC 25 years ago! When it was the only Ted's in town. The fajitas are amazing (lots less greasy now) same wonderful flavor with caramelized onions. For the sides I got cilantro lime rice and black beans (which could use a little more flavor) but very healthy. Free chips and salsa and tortillas. Best salsa in town and you could kick it up with atomic sauce. Oh! And save room for the sopaipillas for dessert! 🤩

Great place to get your Mexican food cravings taken care of. The Fajitas are awesome, and so is everything else. Returned here the other day after a 20-year gap, having moved away from OKC.

This location really helped me in a bind for a 20 person catering online order - ready within an hour and the staff was extremely friendly and so helpful! They even offered plates/silverware and brought to my car for curbside. Thank you!!

I mean it's Ted's Hello!!!! Went and had the taco salad and WOW it was amazing! I opted for the fajita chicken! Def a recommendation! And chips aren't too hard!

Literally, one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Great food and great service. You'll be surprised by how good the service is. My server was without a doubt the best server I’ve ever had there. I normally don’t make a point to get my servers names but if you ever eat here ask for Josiah. He went above and beyond to make my dining experience enjoyable and memorable. He made me laugh with his wit and had I known dinner would’ve included a show I would’ve paid extra to see it again. I’ll definitely be coming back to this Teds as a direct result of Josiah. Thank you Josiah for making my life and dining experience enjoyable and memorable.

We got the fajitas takeout for 10 people— SO GOOD and SO MUCH salsa chips and queso. We all had to take containers home after our gathering.

They initially forgot the tortillas and we called and they went above and beyond to get us our tortillas and even gave us 10 extra. Thanks so much for excellent service and food that made our family gathering so easy and special.

Good food great service and quick. This place is off the beaten path but well worth the drive to get there !! Will come back !!

I went there for my birthday last year, and the host found us an optimal booth near the aquarium. The dining and service were exceptional. Price range $$-$$$

I believe everyone should go because it is so fun. The atmosphere was amazing and they got a lot of stuff that you can eat.
I got the nachos, and they're really cheesy.

Excellent Service & food did not get the waiters name but he was Outstanding will definitely return soon .

They offer the free queso that OKC restaurants are known for.

I had 2 chicken enchiladas 1 with the sour cream sauce the other with the chili sauce. They're both really good!

The complimentary sopapillas they give you at the end are the bomb 🔥

I ordered DoorDash the other night and it was fantastic. Both my husband and I’s order was correct, and delicious. I ordered chips/ and queso as well and it was very generously filled. They also gave us salsa, and tortillas that I didn’t order which was nice! They package everything separately, including the side order and side options. So you get really big portions!

It was our first time visiting here.. And I must say I enjoyed every minute.. The staff was very friendly and our waitress was amazing.. Definitely coming back more often.

Oh boy! Y’all HAVE to come see the fine gentleman who manages this joint! He’s about 6’1, dark hair, 81” wingspan, chizzled shoulders like you’ve never seen, prolly benches about 315 (no warm up), I’d say he runs a 4.4 40, don’t even get me started on his high jump.

Service was very friendly and helpful - got all of our orders perfect. Food had great flavor, will be back. Love the chips, tortillas, quest, salsa, and relish brought to the table as you wait for your food.

Shrimp tacos are always good. We had a reservation but still had to wait an
hour. Staff is very nice.

As a N.TX resident I appreciate good service because is very rare and this was the best service I have ever received. Great casual restaurant with good food and fresh tortillas. I will go every time I'm in OKC.
