Elkin Valley Baptist Church

I have many relatives in the Cemetery here. The Cemetery is always well maintained, except they do let the veterans brass memorials get grown over and difficult to find. I only get there once every five years or so, and my dad's marker (WWII Veteran) is usually almost completely covered.

My family and i have been going for several months on and off now. The church family is Very welcoming. It is difficult to find a church in this area that truly makes you feel comfortable and at home. I am used to smaller churches, but don’t let the large building intimidate you. Down to earth folks with lots of love. VERY active in the community, which is few and far between around this area given all the churches we have. And if you are non-denominational, you will fit in here!

I have only attended twice, but I think it is a great church with great pastors that preach the word of God from the bible. Pastor Steve and pastor Blevins did a house visit with me and my wife after our first visit to the church. The sermons are great. I know God is pleased with Elkin Valley Baptist Church.

I was there in 2012 - 2013, i am a asian from Indonesia. i had a beautiful memories in that area especially in elkin valley Baptist church. When i came to the church, i met many good and nice people they hugged me like their family and Yes, we're a family in Jesús Christ. The pastor is very nice people, I still remember his name is pastor Johnny blevins, the first time I met him in the restaurant. He came to the restaurant to talk with me and invited me to come to the church in that time because I didn't know anybody. He says hi always when we met outside of church such as in public area although we didn't know personally. When i walked on the street, the church congregation offering a ride always they are a true family. Thank you, you were my family when i lived in America 🇺🇸❤❤

I have been attending church at Elkin Valley for almost 15 years. Our pastors preach the Bible and stand firm in their belief and teaching of God's Word. We have a loving and supportive church family and truly believe in The Great Commission. I felt welcome from the first visit.

Elkin Valley is the church we’ve attended over the past 12 years. The preaching and teaching are biblical and not only remind us of who we are and where we need to be in Christ, but move us to action as well. There are several opportunities for discipleship and fellowship each week as well as opportunities to minister both here in the community and all over the world.

My wife and I have been searching for a church within one hour of Wilkesboro for the past year. We feel at home at this church and and feel the presence of the Lord.

This is my home church so I may have some bias, but I believe this is a wonderful church. They have great music, great messages, and most importantly they stick to the gospel.

Very welcoming, Bible-based, active church. Pastor Johnny and Stephen are the best. The church is making a real difference.

Friendly, Godly and the Preacher Johnny Blevins is the best and most eloquent that I have ever listened to.

Nice church that made me feel at home. Very welcoming.

Love the Spirit of God shared by the people there. Bible preaching not watered down to tickle your ears.

Saturday morning weekly 6:30 am Men's Prayer Breakfast. Totally uplifting.
