Great selection of wines and beers, Jeremy and staff are very knowledgeable. We had one of each entree for dinner in our party and all were amazing!! Great time with friends in an awesome atmosphere and great food!!

What a gem! I had had dinner across the street and decided to call in here for a glass of wine. It exceeded my expectations - lovely staff, an amazing food menu (I had a delicious bread pudding), and a huge choice of wines (we tried the Carolina flight and the Austrian flight). It was such a lovely end to an evening. Next time I’ll go back for the full menu!

My husband and I were in Traphill for a weekend mountain getaway and traveled into Elkin for dinner. This little unassuming restaurant inside a wine bar is top notch and their food could blow some restaurants in Raleigh out of the water. The food was fresh, perfectly prepared, and truly delicious. I don’t personally drink so I cannot speak for the wine. We both started with a salad and both salads were fresh, crisp, and came with lots of toppings! I then had the steak which was freshly cooked and incredibly fresh. My husband had the shrimp and grits and they were some of the best he has ever had. Highly recommend this wonderful little restaurant is you’re in the area.

Absolutely ADORE this place! Loved it when it was just wine and now that Chef Tim is in its only exponentially increased in desire. Tonight, pairing this hunky dory sav blanc with shrimp and grits; fabulous dish by Chef Tim himself and an excellent sommelier pick by Jeremy. Highly recommend as it's never the same pace, wines and food are always changing. Also don't miss out on a wine dinner each month!

Our wedding reception at The Wisdom Table was an absolute dream come true! From start to finish, their team, led by Jeremy the sommelier and Chef Tim, delivered an unparalleled experience. Jeremy's expertise in selecting the perfect wine pairings for each course elevated our dining experience to new heights. His recommendations were spot on and truly enhanced the flavors of the meal.

Chef Tim crafted an impeccable menu that surpassed all our expectations. The attention to detail and the exquisite flavors showcased his culinary mastery. He was incredibly accommodating, taking our preferences into account while creating a menu that left our guests raving.

Throughout the entire process, both Jeremy and Chef Tim were not just professional but also extremely personable and accommodating. Their genuine enthusiasm to make our day special was evident in every interaction.

The waitstaff team was equally phenomenal. Their seamless service and attention to every detail ensured that everything ran smoothly, allowing us to fully enjoy our celebration without any worries.

We are immensely grateful to The Wisdom Table for their exceptional service, delicious cuisine, and the unforgettable memories they helped us create. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience for their special occasion!

So I hate the term "best kept secret" but it certainly applies to this place. OMG. From the outside it appears to just be a wine shop (an awesome one at that). Inside there is a small restaurant just past the wine bar. The owner is a sommelier and the chef is incredible. Very small menu, but who needs more than about 4-5 entrees to choose from? We started with the seasonal salads, yum yum on the dressing. We started with one wine to go with this and their choices were spot on.
I had the Berkshire Pork Bone In Rack and my husband had the Angus Tenderloin. We had different wines to go with these. Again, everything was incredibly prepared, meats were tender, sauces were perfect.
We ended the meal with glasses of Port.
My only slightly negative comment is that for someone who doesn't do milk (lactose intolerant), the choices were limited. But I was able to find excellent choices.
(PS, we were staying across the street, so no driving after this).

Had an absolutely fantastic experience at this wine tasting. The charcuterie board had one of the best cheeses I’ve ever tasted in my life and the Halloween candy wine pairing was really unique and very delicious

One of the best kept secrets in Elkin NC. Five Star restaurant. Food was to die for. Staff was excellent. If you want a great food and wine experience look no further. One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Highly recommend

Apologies for tasting the stuffed strawberry and chocolate dipped cherry before thinking of taking a picture! We loved loved loved this spot we found while checking out the town of Elkin, which is in the middle of Yadkin Valley Wine country! Jeremy was such a fountain of information, answering all our questions. Loved his selection of Italian, Spanish, French and California bubblies for our flight. Lovely location as well. Strongly recommend!

We had a fabulous visit. The food, wine and atmosphere was amazing. The owners are so nice and they have a brilliant service. We will definitely visit the wisdom table again.

The perfect stop for a flight of wines. You can sample North Carolina's best or a perfectly procured array of wines from around the country/globe. I recently stopped by and had an excellent selection of fortified wines with many types I have never tried before.

We love this place! Jeremy and Krystle are amazing people! I highly recommend this place if you want to try out new wines. Jeremy is very knowledgeable and passionate about the wines he pours! Out of all of the wine bars we have visited, this particular one is the best!

Tasted a great selection of wines tonight. My husband and I shared 2 tastings for 8 different wines. Thoroughly enjoyed a bowl of the most delicious Brunswick Stew. Had good conversation with Jeremy-great guy!. Can't wait to come back.

Great selection of wine & also a few beers. Knowledgeable sommelier on site can suggest pairings for you. Can't wait to visit again next week!

We often tell visitors to our tasting room that Elkin is very lucky to have Jeremy and the Wisdom Table. We are wine club members here and we actually have a steady wine collection because of Jeremy. We love the goal of Wisdom Table is to educate and empower you in the world of wine, which can be very intimidating even if you are in the industry. We enjoy blind tasting classes, absolutely loved the sushi and sake wine pairing dinner. Can’t wait to see what comes out next from this gem nestled in the heart of NC wine country.

Love the place. Wine flights are always great. The hummus plates are awesome. And the flour less chocolate cake are incredible. You should try the peppermint creme Brule!

Awesome local place for local wines and higher end wines and beers. They offer nice Chartreuse boards with a nice casual atmosphere. They are located in Downtown Elkin close to nice dining and bars and soon to have a high end VRBO right across the street.

Out doing wine tasting in Yadkin Valley. Overheard conversation about The Wisdom Table between an employee at one of the wineries and a customer. My friends and I checked this place out in downtown Elkin and we were glad we did. Great place and atmosphere. Nice selection of wines on their menu. We will be back when visiting Elkin again.
