Travelers BBQ and Catering

Worth the drive to come south from I-40 for a good BBQ sandwich and some decent brisket for this side of the Mississippi. Should my travels bring me this way again, I would stop for round 2. Our hostess, Charity, came over and checked on us. Told us the owner and cook is from California and that explains the good brisket.

Went there with friends for lunch on Sunday. Since 1993, I have eaten at over 240 bbq joints all over the country. The brisket (chopped) and pork were outstanding. The sauce, the beans and the mac & cheese were very good as well.

Travelers BBQ is the halfway point between my TN home and my family in MS. I travel this route routinely and always stop for carry out pulled pork which I purchase by the pound. I've stopped at every BBQ place along the way and none compare to Travelers. The pulled pork is very lean and has just the right amount of smoke and flavor. The BBQ sauce is to die for. I could drink it. The pork and sauce are consistent - the same deliciousness every time!

I have traveled all over the south trying BBQ...Travelers BBQ ranks in the top 3 in my opinion. BBQ was tender,nice smoky flavor. And I got to taste his brisket...unbelievable!!! So good. Great prices too. If you want really good BBQ, stop at TRAVELERS BBQ HWY 22 LEXINGTON

The family Brisket dinner was fabulous. What made us stop by was the big grill out front, because if you can't smell the smoke then you won't get real BBQ. The guys working there was very nice and helpful. We will be back!!!😋🔥🔥

Amazing customer service. Very down to earth guy. Food wise, best I’ve ever had no joke. I’ve always hated baked beans but I honestly could order and entire meal of just beans here. Everything on the menu is a 10/10

I grew up in Memphis and I know and love barbecue. The food was fantastic. We had a platter with pork, chicken, and tri tip. Everything was moist and smoked to perfection. Our expectations were surpassed and we will definitely return to try the ribs and smoked chicken next.

Delicious food at affordable prices. There is a good variety on the menu for being a bbq joint. If you are in the area; you definitely.need to stop in.

The food was absolutely delicious! 💜 I got the ribs, mac & cheese, and banana pudding. It was all delicious! My husband got the brisket and Texas BBQ nachos. The brisket melted in your mouth. 🤤 We will definitely be coming back!

The BBQ beans were the most delicious beans I've had! Thick cut smoked bologna was my favoritte. Everything was outstanding & their sauce is sweet with a kick.
We found this gem on the way to Chickasaw State Park, if we are ever back in the same area, I'd definitely stop again.

Awesome bbq! Just passing through and decided to give this place a try. Definitely recommend the bbq and would stop by again if coming through this area. Owner and family were really friendly people.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but most good BBQ places don't. Staff was super nice, food was excellent.

Had the pulled pork sandwiches! Very moist, tender, and just the right amount of smoke! The huckory wood and smoker are right there in front of the store.

It’s been a while “years” since I’ve had amazing BBQ. This place exceeded my initial expectation by blowing me away with tender,tasty and perfectly cooked BBQ. As the saying goes, don’t judge by book by its cover. The food was sooo good, I refused to leave the establishment without providing feedback to the public. Customer service is awesome! While in Lexington, TN, this place is a MUST!!

Generous portions of great food! More than enough food, so I have some good leftovers. Be sure to try the potato salad.

The smoker outside was the first clue that this place would be worth a stop. You won't be disappointed!
