B.E. SCOTTS BBQ

I don't eat much pork because it is very unhealthy but it sure does taste good! This is without a doubt in my humble opinion the best barbecue in the area! They've been around a long time with easy access just on the west end of town on highway 412. So if you want some pig meat this is your best choice!
If you want the healthiest choice go with the beef brisket! Might be a good idea to call ahead to make sure they have some because it's in high demand!

An unexpected find on our way home. Whole hog pit bbq cooked daily. We were offered vinegar sauce which went great with the fatty pork. Great place, we highly recommend

So today I discovered Scott’s Bar-B-Q in Lexington, Tn. Located off of I-40 to the south this is the place for Whole Hog BBQ. Their baked beans are crazy good. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Scott’s I will be back again and again.

The pulled pork is amazing. I’ve had nothing like it before. So good that we had two large pulled pork sandwiches each, baked beans, potato salad and sweet tea. Friendly staff and clean environment. Worth every bit of the long drive. I won’t forget this place and will likely go back again soon.

I only had the large pulled pork sandwich with hot sauce and vinegar slaw on a Thursday at lunch. This was my first time there. The sandwich was full and had a good flavor. It was $4.50. Employees were very nice and seemed to know most of the customers that were coming in for lunch including what they usually order which is a nice touch. The place has plenty of seating [see pics]. Only downside was the bathrooms were outside. They were clean but very, very basic. I would recommend at least a topping by one time and trying it out for yourself!

I was born in a city where we’re home of BBQ (Memphis), was in the area and was craving BBQ in Lexington. I stopped in told them it was my first time there. A sweet customer in front of me said “oh you’re in for a treat hun”, from then I knew it was gonna be good from the reviews and the service itself. I ordered the small BBQ nachos and pork sandwich, from the first bite I fell in love. They give you what you paid for and more. I couldn’t even finish my food. I will say outside of Memphis BBQ, this is my favorite. I called some of my relatives in Memphis and said this BBQ is BUSSIN(good good) lol. Trust and believe I will be back again! Service and food was excellent! Also, it is in a great location coming into town and has reasonable prices!

Great BBQ sandwich - Tender pulled pork, perfect slaw. Simple menu done well. Service was fast and friendly and everything was nice and clean.

Food always great, the guy working the counter has an absolute horrible attitude. Needs to learn how to talk to customers.

Drove all the way from Champaign Illinois, not only was the bbq absolutely amazing their vinegar sauce was so delicious, an their hospitality was so welcoming. Terry and Preston were just the best of people, trip worth taking, memory’s for life.❤

Their nachos are some of the best I've had, always get the lrg that way I'll have some for later 😋!

Delicious, moist, super tender pork from a regional classic. We traveled down from Ohio and their communication before we arrived (on FB and over the phone) was amazing. We were able to reserve some meat just in case they sold out before we got down there. It was definitely worth the wait, I don't know that I've ever had meat that tender and it was just the right amount of smoke. Maybe the best bbq beans I've ever had <3

Whole hog BBQ! What can I say? Well worth the 2 hours from Nashville and the 4 hours from Los Angeles. It's whole hog BBQ by the pound or in a sandwich, a small or jumbo. The service is simple get near the window and they will ask what you want. Sweet mild medium or spicy sauce, coleslaw yes or no, mayo or vinegar on the bread. Great food real polite service. I loved it and I know my BBQ.

I found this place after doing some serious digging on the web. The place delivered. First, I must say I love swine so when I heard the best whole hog BBQ in the USA my ears perked up. So we went to this unsuspecting building in Lexington Tennessee. I had the supreme sandwich chopped with the hot BBQ sauce with beans and slaw. The sandwich was knock my socks of good. The pork was sweet and the fat melted right in and the hot BBQ gave that right amount of heat to off set the sweetness of the meat. This was a perfect combo for me. The slaw was standard as far a slaws go. I got the mayo slaw, they also offer vinegar slaw. The beans boy they were good they put a little green pepper in it and I think some of the pork. They were top 5 beans in my book. Long story short I was both satisfied and full when I left, but this didn't stop me from buying another pound of chopped hog for the road. At $8.50lb not bad. Top notch whole hog BBQ!!!

Best Barbeque ANYWHERE! Whole hog, not just the shoulder. They have won numerous awards for their BBQ.

Delicious definitely worth the drive order way more than we could eat but well worth it

We have driven for over an hour one way to enjoy the best BBQ around for over 40 years. The Jumbo sandwich is almost too much for one guy to eat but my husband manages along with their delicious baked beans. If you haven’t been, go, and if you can’t eat in, well, bring it home. Scotts is worth every penny and then some. I’m going today!!

Went here for lunch. As soon as we walked in half a dozen other people were behind us in line. We had two pork BBQ sandwiches with baked beans and a soda for about $10. Hit the spot. Yummy😊

Been all 48 and parts of Canada, there's only one BBQ joint in the world, Scotts BBQ !
