La Carreta Mexican Restaurant

It’s EHmazing if was great food,GREAT staff, and a pretty mid atmosphere, but I’m still gonna write 5 stars on atmosphere. La Careata is a really good place to eat.

Very good authentic mexican food and nice people :)

While I was waiting for my mother to get her hair done next door I went to eat at la Carreta. I love the #5 dinner with extra cheese. My meal came pretty fast, the waiter was very professional and helpful. I loved it and ate every bite. I would recommend it to anyone.

My daughter and I are on vacation, and came here upon a recommendation. It was delicious! I enjoyed the Carne Azada de la Mexicana, and my daughter loved her Camarones (I can never spell it right -- it's shrimp in Spanish.) The waiter was very nice, and helped me practice my Spanish. The servings were generous, and we had meals for the following day. The guacamole was very good, too! (A must have for me with Mexican food.) The prices were very reasonable.

I live in southern New Mexico and every time I’ve had Mexican food somewhere other than New Mexico, southern Arizona, Texas and California it has been hugely disappointing. Now that you understand that I’m snobby about my Mexican food allow me to emphasize just how good the food was here. As soon as I walked in the door I knew it was going to be good. The atmosphere was just right. Then the salsa came out and though it’s very definitely as mild as milk, the flavor was fantastic and the tostadas were fresh. They have vegetarian options clearly labeled on the menu and I have to assume you could easily make many of those vegan with the omission of cheese. The wait staff was great as well. All around great experience and tasty Mexican food.

I've always had a great meal here. The guys are always friendly and quick with service.

We had dinner here this past Tuesday. Food was amazing, they know how to fill your plate. Atmosphere was great. But our waitress hit the mark. She made sure we never did without anything. We were able to walk in and seat ourselves with no wait. 10 stars from this family.

The only Mexican restaurant I will eat at. Every request is meet in a timely manner. Restaurant is clean and organized. LOVE IT!!!

My wife and I stopped here on our way through town and it delivered exactly what we needed, great food, fast service, and it was extremely cheap.

Service is great.. everyone is very nice and attentive. And lemme tell you, these buffalo chicken nachos are what's up. Paired with a jumbo marg. 10/10👌🏻👌🏻

Good Vibes in a Mexican restaurant! This place is pretty cool lots of work went into decorating. I almost think its worth it just to check out the inside. The food was hot and fresh, the value for cost of my meal was very good. I highly recommend this restaurant

I moved here from El Paso, Texas where I had access to some top notch Mexican cuisine. I can confidently say the quality you get at La Carreta is close to that quality and far superior to any other competitors in the area. The restaurant is always VERY clean. The employees are VERY fast and friendly. They always remember you and the prices are unbeatable! Thank you Chemo and the team!

Awesome food! Good price, and a lot of food! Good service! I got the beef fajitas, and I have enought to take home!
