I often overlook places like this. But we broke down on the side of the road and had very limited options. However, this place exceeded anything I could’ve imagined. Your immediately welcomed with clean smelling air upon entry. The rooms were clean, smelled clean, and had nice clean fluffy towels and clean bedding. We stay at many many hotels, and this motel is better than some of the mainstream hotels we often stay at. If you’re in the area, it’s safe to stay there.

Bed and pillows were fantastic!! I really don't have any complaints with this hotel other than the cleaning stuff they spray is overpowering and the bare floors will turn your feet black... other than that no problem, I would stay again

We enjoyed this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. I was hesitant because there were a couple reviews that weren’t that good but we had no issues at all in the 2 rooms we had. Breakfast was good with a waffle maker, microwavable breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, fruit, muffins, bread, bagels, English muffins and cereal. We would not hesitate to stop again when passing through. The staff were all super friendly!

It is an older hotel and could definitely use an update inside. However, we stay here a lot because of the location and the service. The older gentleman that works midnights is always so kind.

Great stay. Steve at the front desk was a great guy who had all the answers after being on the road all day. Good breakfast there too.

Mr Steve was so kind and was excellent at getting our room ready. We have a service dog and loves the room also. It is so quiet and there is a truck stop right beside and you can not hear the traffic at all. We have stay there 3 times and we will continue to stay when are in Newpirt.

I was pretty worried about the quality when I booked the room for such a low price. I was pleasantly surprised by this EconoLodge. I'm not a big fan of the surrounding area, but the room was clean, well-kept, and spacious. The lady at reception was very welcoming, informative, and friendly. There was even a dog park behind the parking lot to let my dog off leash. The AC unit worked well, and best of all, there was no lock on how low you could set the temp. 🩵 I love to sleep in the cold. I would definitely stay again.

Except for stains on rugs in room and hallway like many motels have it was a very nice motel. Very clean, furnished nicely, bed comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. The morning desk staffer came from around the counter to hold the door open for me and wished me safe travels! Breakfast area small but nice - came down 25 mins before the ending and had Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, waffles, cereals, breads, yogurt, assorted fresh fruit and big delicious muffins we warmed in the microwave. Appreciate the sink to wash hands and hand sanitizer in the breakfast area.

Friendly front desk lady, courteous, helpful, reasonable room cost

We had a great stay. Staff was exceptionally friendly and check in was quick/painless. Our room was really clean, spacious and comfortable. I liked that our room didn’t have carpet. It was vinyl floor so it felt cleaner. There wasn’t a speck of dust anywhere. If I had one complaint it was no overhead lighting so the room was a tad bit dim. One more floor lamp in there would make it perfect. The bed was comfortable and I had a great night’s sleep. Amazing value for a one night stay for Dollywood. I think this might be the way to go from now on. Also, it’s great to be next to the Love’s for easily and affordable accessible gas.

We very much enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again if in the area. Steve was very friendly, knowledgeable of the area, and very accommodating. The room was clean, bed and pillows were comfortable, good shower, and it was roomy (couch, chair, desk). Breakfast was sausage biscuit, bagel, toast, boiled eggs, fruit, oatmeal. Coffee 24/7. Location was easy to get to.

We were in town for a wedding. We had 3 rooms together. We had a lot of family activities going on so we weren't in our rooms very much except to sleep. Everyone in our party said they had a wonderful night's sleep. The rooms were clean and the mattresses and pillows were comfortable. We were here for 2 nights. Housekeeping came in the second day while we were out and remade the beds and gave us fresh towels and washcloths. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. There are many places close by where you can eat (restaurants and fast food). They are building a Love's next door which will be very convenient for travelers. It was a positive experience. I accidentally sent in a review for this hotel that was unfavorable, which was meant for another hotel along my road trip. This hotel stay in Newport, Tennessee was wonderful. Clean room, and great amenities. The part I want to correct mostly was the incorrect review of service and coffee. The nice lady who was there on Oct 3rd was amazing! She had great coffee made, she was sweet and kind and got us our breakfast bags to go. She was helpful and hardworking so does deserve an excellent rating for her service. I was acknowledged as a choice member as well when I arrived. Thank you, I just wanted to set the record straight that the employee did indeed do a great job and the hotel is gighly recommended!

This place was very clean and I felt secure here too. The gal at the front desk was so accommodating and made sure to get me a room with a handicap shower. The staff here are so friendly, it made my stay much more pleasant. It was really nice and I would stay here again. Seemed to be family friendly and quiet. I slept like a baby.

Super clean room with lots of space. Polite and helpful service. They have a pool although I'm not sure if it's open yet (4/6/22). They have breakfast options and dining room. The price is more than fair for the quality. Would stay again.

Most modern motels are rather impersonal places. But here, the proprietors were friendly, welcoming and seemed to take a genuine interest in making our stay pleasant. For example, they knew of the vegetarian options at nearby restaurants. The motel was clean, quiet and safe. We would stay there again.

The lobby was very clean and smelled fresh. The check in lady was very professional and pleasant. The room was clean, comfortable beds and pillows. There are mattress protectors on the bed and box spring to keep bugs out. Made me feel comfortable. Room was large and clean.

Staff at the front desk were very nice. Room was clean and spacious. Linens were squeaky clean. Best part of the stay was the breakfast. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Overall very good for the price in the area.

ac is cold enough. minifridge, microwave. single serve coffee pot.
pastry, fruit, juice, yogurt and coffee for breakfast.
Staff is very friendly.

pool is clean 3' to 5', also has a handicap seat- lift.

Truck and RV parking in rear of building

we are a mature couple with no kids, just needed a room to sleep, shower and relax in between our vacation adventures and this fit our needs.

Hotel is very functional and clean but very dated decor and bathrooms need updating. exterior doors are supposed to have card access but some doors dont work and are propped open. Pricing was cheaper than other hotels in the area so i am giving 5 stars.

side note: there are two vacate lots on either side of hotel that are currently clearing site for construction. Three pieces of earth moving equipment were working on Sunday on pool side. cannot hear inside room with ac hum.

The staff was very freindly and helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious. Bathroom was nice and well lit. Breakfast was well stocked and tasty. Overall experience was great. We have returned here many times over the years and will continue to stay in the future.
