Amazing homestyle comfort food at affordable prices! I had fried chicken breast, macaroni, and fried green tomatoes. My bf had the fried flounder W fried squash and really liked it too. Best food l've had in quite a while. The staff were very cordial and accommodating; very clean establishment and HUGE BROWNIES! The only reason why I gave 4 stars for atmosphere is that there was no music or artwork, but it was a pleasant environment.

Best small town country comfort food! The staff is so sweet and nice. Food is good. Always find a parking space and a table! Will stop every time I pass if they’re open!

If you are traveling I-77 and have a hankering for a good home cooked meal, you must stop at The Front Porch. The atmosphere is probably not everyone's taste, but I loved it. There are china hutches a fireplace and an old upright piano scattered about the dining rooms.
You get a meat and three here for $11.99 (as of 10/23/2022). The fried chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy outside, tender and juicy inside. The side options are plentiful. I especially loved the candied yams and the beets. Beef tips with gravy were also delicious. Service was fast and friendly. We will definitely stop if we come this way again.

I was on my way back from Charleston, SC, and decided to stop in and try the food here. I am so glad I did! EVERYTHING was delicious 😋

AMAZING!!!! So good !!!! Had the meatloaf and it did not disappoint!! I’m very picky about my meatloaf and I loved it !! I recommend ANYONE To come here you won’t be disappointed!!!

The food as tasty. The service was good. I had an issue with the busboy service, instead of waiting until we were up and out he bused the table with us handing him the dishes. Also we had asked for a to go cup, which he brought after he bused the table. We would've gotten out of the way if we had the cup. Can't leave a good ole Pepsi🥴on the table. train them up the word says. Good meal.

I’m glad we found this place. We were on our way from Georgia to Richmond Va. I had the country style steak with mash potatoes and gravy and beets. Ever thing was good. If you want some home style cooking. This is the place to eat. Staff were awesome as well.

My husband got the BBQ plate. So much food and the hushpuppies were wonderful! I got the open faced roast beef. It was the best I have ever had! Generous helpings!!! We would recommend highly!

You just can't get any better than this. The food was 10/10. So so delicious. I am stuffed.

The only time I've ever been disappointed woth this place was walking in the day before they were closed and not having the full dessert lineup. Great prices, food that feels like you went to visit your granny, and always a breath of fresh air when stuck out on the road. Love you guys!

The Front Porch. Great name for a cozy diner! The front porch was very welcoming with huge ferns and other charming plants!
I'm rating this place 5 STARS because our lunch was absolutely delicious. Traveling from South Carolina to Ohio, we needed a break from the car, and found this place while searching online. Although the decor lacks some continuity and could be upgraded with a little vision, our food could not have been better! We both ordered baked steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, and coleslaw. This was served with delicious warm homemade cornbread. The experience was very casual, served on paper plates with plastic utensils, but our waitress was delightful, the cook delivered our food herself, and the bus boy promptly cleared the table after dinner. The steak was perfection, and the coleslaw was the kind Grandma used to make with a little vinegar instead of mayo. Wish we lived closer. I know we would give them lots of business. Be sure to stop there! This was so much better than the McDonald's where we almost stopped! 🥰☕

Imagine going home for Thanksgiving dinner. That's what this place is like. Sitting in grandma's dining room and eating her home cooked food. The staff felt like they were just a family, inviting in some friends. Everyone helped everyone and I just loved it.
On top of all that the food was so good. I have the green beans mashed potatoes with gravy and Lima beans. The green beans were the best of all three but I would definitely eat all of them again. I will be back for sure.

Food was delicious, well seasoned, prepared lovingly just like my Mama did. Servers were very friendly, accommodating and fast. We witnessed server Zoey being so sweet to an elderly couple, explaining everything on the menu. We will definitely return!

Absolutely fantastic service. Very welcoming family owned restaurant with a lot of history. They support military members! Highly recommended

What more can I say 🤔 about one of my favorite places to eat. I had the fried chicken and it was awesome as usual 😋. The veggies are always delicious as well. I had to stop by Libby and Joe how great 👍 it was. Good people and great food!!

Food was great. Staff was attentive. Restaurant has a nice old country feel. Restaurant was packed at lunch.

Whole reason I stopped at this exit for the night was for this restaurant. I was absolutely not disappointed! Fried chicken was banging.

Also had sweet potato pie for the first time! The ice cream that came with it was really good.

Excellent!! Food was like homemade, service was excellent, and the atmosphere was humble but nice. I would highly recommend the fried chicken!

The servers are friendly, attentive, and make dining here even better. I forgot to take a photo of the warm brownie that melted in my mouth.
