A Taste of Home

Dang...good, good food. Dang nice people too. Traveling down to Myrtle Beach and we had to stop. The coconut cake was a raving success. Do it...go there... enjoy! Wow this place was awesome. Bam!

The food was delicious, hot and fresh. I couldn't eat everything I wanted to. I will definitely go back!

Amazing food but the strawberry cake oooo I need that recipe and ate 2 slices more than usual.

What a good place to eat. Was driving home from Greenville and stopped by here for an early dinner. Service was good and food was great.

It was fantastic. This was my first time in Laurens, SC. I heard about it from other people. Finally, before going and eating that terrific food at A Taste of Home; we enjoyed ourselves at Beaverdam Baptist Church in Enoree, SC.

Like the title says, I've lost my father, mother and step-father. The latter two were excellent cooks. Loved there way of cooking, and I truly miss them and as well as their cooking. So A Taste of Home reminds me of them.....

The reviews were very accurate - good food and great servers. From the moment we walked in the door and greeted warmly, to a welcome by our server at the table, we all enjoyed our buffet meal. Lunch buffet was $14 and it included drinks and desserts including ice cream! The best fried chicken I've had!!! Vegetables were seasoned and the salad bar was small but very fresh. We would certainly return if we're ever in Laurens again.

I really enjoyed the fellowship with my church family at the Taste of Home. Their service and generosity were so "Appreciated." The food and suggested desserts were Delicious and worth my time and every dime that was spent there. I would recommend my family and my friends to this Amazing peace to dine and have family time. I really look forward to my next visit with them.

This is the best place to go to for well seasoned Southern cuisine. Food is freshly prepared everyday oh, the staff are very accommodating and friendly it is a very homey feel and a Christian restaurant. Very nice to eat in or dine out regards to the food. It's not the most luxurious looking place but it's not meant to be it's meant to be like home. I highly recommend the food here

The food is really good. All of your favorite soul food cooking. On August 1 they converted to cafeteria style.

Not sure how that works yet.

PS: It's $19.99 per adult on Sunday and ya still get plastic and foam dinnerware.

The food was GREAT! The first place I’ve ever been to that actually makes their gravy HOMEMADE!!!! And the banana pudding was soo good. I’ll definitely be back again for more! Highly recommended

Everything is perfect! The food is always fresh and has a great taste! The people who work there are very welcoming and nice. One of the best southern food I have ever tasted! If you love fantastic food, come to this place ! I come here every two weeks with my mom. I love it.

Consistency is key. When you’re here, you are treated like family and if you visit enough , like all family they will know your drink and what you like before you even sit down. Tuesday and Thursday are pork chops days and it’s normally when you can catch me there. Love this place, plain and simple!

Today was our first visit to A Taste Of Home. It was awesome. The food was so good. I can't pick a favorite because it was all so delicious. The ones that run it are so nice and welcome everyone with a huge smile. Each and everyone spoke making sure you were good, if you needed anything. The young lady and young gentleman that waited on us made sure our cups were full of drinks, kept the table clean and was so pleasant, for a home atmosphere, wonderful home cooking and all employees so pleasant and so friendly, this is a place you need to try. We so ENJOYED our lunch today, thank you A Taste Of Home for having a wonderful place for families to come to and enjoy their food and the atmosphere. Instead of 5 stars, I'd give it 10 stars. Love this place. For those who have not tried A Taste Of Home, please do so. You will not regret it.

Already see Im going to gain a few extra pounds while I'm in town. Their food and great customer service keep you coming back for more. All of the food is seasoned to perfection and the spread makes you feel like it's Thanksgiving everyday. If food is love they definitely show plenty of it.

Very tasteful food. From the sweet tea to the corn bread. They have fried pork shops, fried chicken, meatballs, baked chicken, all the good stuff is here. Finish your food with a piece of cake, apple pie or ice cream.
You'll not regret it and your money will be well spend, plus you'll be helping local restaurant to be know out of Laurens County, SC.

Just ate at Taste of Home for the 4th time. The food is always spectacular and the staff are friendly, warm, and welcoming. If you’re in the mood for home cooking definitely pay a visit to Taste of Home. Don’t pass up on the corn bread and freshly made sweet tea!

Excellent country cooking buffet! Several meats and a BUNCH of delicious vegetables to choose from. Great salad bar. Yummy desserts. Super friendly staff. Can't wait to go back!

Best buffet I’ve had in a long time. The food is excellent, pleasant atmosphere and the staff is so courteous. Will definitely be back. The drive from Simpsonville was well worth it.

We are traveling the country in our rv and love to stop at “local” spots to support small businesses. What a hidden gem we found! This is some of the best country cooking we’ve ever had, and believe me, we like good food. The fried chicken and banana pudding were both to die for! Even though this is off the beaten path for us, we will be back! Kudos to the cooks…..it was absolutely the best!!!
