New owners of the site that was formerly Sweaty Betty's. This place is fantastic. The Brunswick stew is hearty, smoky, and good to the last drop. The smoked bologna is also worth a stop, nice and thick slices. Do not say no to the banana pudding! This isn't Jello pudding in a bowl, it's creamy, sweet, custardy, and well worth the calories. I eat here every time I'm in town!

Best BBQ in town by far. They have Fish Fry every Friday and my dad loved it. My favorite is the chicken with spicy BBQ. Large portions and fair prices. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Great BBQ and awesome sides. Great sauces with a choice of sweet for those who prefer KC style, vinegar for those that prefer Memphis style, and hot for those that like it spicy. Fair prices and friendly service. A favorite lunch stop.

WAY 2 GO ladies, hidden behind an Exxon, we decided to stop after deciding against the chain restaurants. The pork was delicious, my wife used the sweet bbq sauce, I had the spicey both were good. To top it off we had the banana pudding, YUMMM! Next time we are heading through Athens, we will stop again. Love from K-ville.

The Friday Fish Fry is awesome. Tasty whiting cooked to order. Some of the best slaw I ever had, too. Extremely friendly service.

I was truly pleased with this experience of eating at Weezees BBQ, I am not a BBQ fan, but this place, I will be returning back too. Delicious. You all should come out and give it a try.

I guess they closed early. How can you sell me food if you aren't open when you say you're open. I was really hoping to try this place.
Maybe I'll try again one day. Meanwhile I'll keep going to Big Daddy's BBQ across town.
