Best experience, the workers were very friendly and made me a smiley face on my waffle, I didn't want to eat it but I did.. eventually. It was delicious, I got a flavor that wasn't on the menu and you gotta ask for it, it's the one and only pumpkin spice!! Try it, it's amazing!

Are server was amazing. our food was perfect. the eggs were cooked perfect. will definitely be back. Thank you waffle House staff.

Came in the day after Christmas around noon and it was super crowded but the staff was amazing and we’re doing a great job at making sure everything flowed together perfectly. The food was delicious! These people have worked so hard over the last few days and need recognition and thanks!

As a long-time guest of Waffle House, I am very familiar with their food preparation expertise, and customer service.
This morning I visited the Athens, TN, store.
The first word that entered my mind was wow.
Hannah was the absolute best server that I have experienced at any Waffle House.
She was exceptionally busy servering many guests, and yet made time to ensure that I had everything that I needed. She must be a mind-reader, because she seemed to know exactly what I needed. And she is so polite.
To the store manager, please express my sincere thanks to Hannah.

Came in during the brunch rush on NYE and service was fast, friendly and tasty! Marsha was an energetic and friendly server and we were thankful for the stop on a long road trip home.

Came to this location before getting on the road heading back to Colorado. The customer service here is very welcoming. The food is delicious! If I’m ever coming through this area again I’ll be sure to stop here. I loved it! Thank you to the waitress Nikki and Chris for stopping to make sure everything was good. 5 stars across the board!

Generally I quite like waffle house. Much more inviting atmosphere than a generic fast-food restaurant. Food is great, I usually get hashbrown casseroles. Can be a bit pricy though, but it'll fill you up. Good if you need a break from a road trip, as its right off I-75. I've never had a problem with the staff, they do their job well and *seem* to enjoy it.

This waffle house had staff problems a couple months back. they've greatly improved recently we were there Friday evening Aug 25th our waiters name was Corey he was very professional at his job very polite and outgoing personality kept our drinks refilled along with all the other patrons in his section our cooks name was Michael he cooked our food really good and fast his plate presentation was very nice they both work 3rd shift but filled in for second shift to earn extra money these guys deserve a raise in my opinion oh and also even though they were reallying busy everything was exceptionally clean

Waffle House in Athens tn is by far the best 1 there is all hrs of the day, afternoon & the night. But especially the late night crew they r so nice & make the food wayyyyy better! It's def a place I go practically EVRYDAY bc it's amazing. It's def a family place g I 100% recommend it!

Delicious, as usual! We honestly always receive better service here than we do at most high-end restaurants and the food never disappoints.
