Comfort Inn

Everyone is always eager to help. They never have a problem with early or late check-ins. My husband works out of town quite frequently and he stays with comfort every time. They always welcome him with a smile and they speak to him with respect. The house keepers do an amazing job. He always feels welcome and that means the world to me.

The pool was fantastic, even my youngest took turns om the water slide!! All the kids enjoyed it so much we took a second swim after breakfast. Food was good too. Waffles were a big hit. Not the biggest selection but some variety. Nice touches like the post card and free cookies upon check out. Laundry and pool facilities stay open late.

Thanks to the desk staff who took my daughter around the pool area when we lost our pool toy. We found it on our morning swim.

Friendly staff provided burn cream and a bandaid when I needed it.

Kids are already begging to go back.

If you're looking for a hotel in Tennessee on i-75 and you have kids 3-14 I would recommend this hotel. Bring your swimsuit bc the pool is the star of the show. It's indoors , HAS A WATER SLIDE, and it stays open until 11pm. Reopens at 5:30am. Also has a hot tub for soaking after a long day of traveling. The only issue is the pool is very small and the slide is a tube that does a 360 turn so I could see possibility for collisions. Also THERE ARE NO BATHROOM FACILITIES NEAR THE POOL so 100% you will be swimming in you-know-what. But no worries bc when you enter the pool area it smells very chemically so there's that.
Other than that, I did check for bed bugs, didn't see any evidence but the bed skirt and bedspread were a little dirty. Sheets were fine. Their breakfast had lots of options.
Overall I would stay here again and recommend to anyone I knew traveling this way

I know the town is small, but this hotel was seriously one of the nicest I've ever been to. The staff is incredible and we never had a problem with any of it. My kids and I loved that it in walking distance of a gas station. We aren't locals in Tennessee but this place made us so relaxed after a long flight in and they were very patient as my kids were running around while we were trying to exit the lobby. I would definitely recommend staying here. I think the only complaint I have is that the pool was a bit overly chlorinated and maybe they could have some type of way for the smell and fumes of the chlorine to escape rather than it be trapped inside. That's the only thing my kids had an issue with. Otherwise, everything literally was amazing.

Inexpensive. Clean. Crazy comfortable beds. Shower had great water pressure. Not crazy about the breakfast choices but it was included so can't complain.

I just moved out of my apartment and needed a place to stay until I leave town the next day. My room was very clean. I had 2 Queen size beds and the mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. I slept very well. My sheets and towels were clean and I could smell the bleach in the bathroom. The bathroom was very clean. My room appeared to have brand new carpet. The walls in my room was painted a couple of shades of green which was very appealing to me. The room temperature was set at 74 degrees, the room temperature was very comfortable it stayed cool in my room. Also, I was on the 4th floor and had a very good view . I could see everything from my window. My only complaint is that the ironing board cover needed to be changed. It looked old and was very dirty. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. It would of been nice if I could have stayed longer. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

This is a great place to stay. The room was very clean, the bathroom was very clean and the shower was amazing.

The hot breakfast was good. Eggs, sausage, waffles, instant oatmeal, and much more

The hotel is beautiful. We were upgraded to a nicer room with an electric fireplace that gave my wife and I the exact amount of light in the room to go to the bathroom when need yet cozy enough to sleep comfortably. I enjoyed the staff and service immensely.

Great place to stay right off the highway. Friendly staff (even when being bombarded due to the snow storm), clean rooms, and excellent heated pool with slide, waterfall, and hot tub. Breakfast was average hotel fair; powdered eggs, sausage, make your own waffles, etc. The price was excellent, especially for last minute.

The mana at the front desk was nice and the check in process was smooth and easy. My room is clean and smells good, they have free breakfast in the morning from 6-9:30. The pool area is open until 11pm!!!!! Which is amazing nowadays most hotels close their pool at 9pm. The hot tub works, pool is chilled(not bad though) they have a cool slide and water umbrella sprinkler for kiddos. Slide has a weight limit of 325lbs so adults can get in on the action too!!! This one is definitely saved and starred♥♥ Half way between FL and MI

The rooms were clean and comfortable. And the price was more reasonable than other hotels. Would recommend this property.

It was nice. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, the staff was very nice and when we got up to continue our journey back home we really filled up on the breakfast that they serve for free. It was one of the better choices for breakfast too. Most places just serve the basics, but not Comforr Inn, they make sure there was plenty of food and plenty of choices. Thank you.

This is the cleanest hotel in athens. The women who clean the room are helpful and makes sure the room is really clean before another person goes in. the owner is very professional and makes.sure that every room is clean.. and lobby amd parking lot. He is doing a great job. I would recommend the comfort in to anyone wanting to stay in athens. This is the hotel to go to if u want to stay in a great place

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. We got the suite with the jacuzzi and loved it. The pool was awesome. The slide and mushroom made it fun. The long pool hours let us wait out the kid rush and act like kids ourselves.

There was one drawback. The breakfast grab bags SUCK. I still gave five stars bc we’d be excited to go back anyway. It’s one cold gas station biscuit for you to microwave, a banana, and cheap water bottle. Plan on getting yourself breakfast or having a disappointing one.

Absolutely outstanding two night stay!!!! Everything was ON POINT!!! Thanks to Alex the GM for having a great place! It’s the way ALL Comfort Inn’s should be! The last one this nice I was in is in Dry Ridge,Ky. Great job to the entire staff!!! Room was awesome, breakfast was awesome and having coffee available 24/7….Priceless!!!!!!

Had to stop at 1:30am and they accommodated us so well and so quickly. Wonderful desk clerk & a nice, clean room. Great staff along with a great nights sleep. Only thing I’d complain about is that you’re not able to check out until 7:30 so we had to sit in our room to wait, which cut into our drive time. But beyond that, wonderful!

We were on our way to another destination but stopped due to the weather. Very clean, great service and good location. Very easy to get to and very easy to get back to interstate. Would definitely recommend to others.

The staff was very professional, and courteous. The room was exceptionally clean, and had the A/C already on when we arrived. They allow early check-in if requested. The indoor pool is convenient if you have children traveling with you, yet the chlorine was a little strong. This is a 100% smoke free hotel, so no worries about having a stale smelling room. They do provide a free breakfast, with many items to choose from. WiFi signal was strong. I would recommend a stay here to anyone, for a night or even a week. It is conveniently located close to stores and restaurants.
