Monterrey Mexican Restaurant

Two things stood out. The dining room was well decorated and clean - the other was our server who deserves a raise. The customer service was excellent. We had lunch there today 3/13/24 for lunch. My wife had a Monterey Bowl and I had a Taco Bowl. Both excellent though I think my wife made a better choice.
Pricing was fair, food was good with excellent service and atmosphere.

Nice little surprise in Athens! Service was decent from small staff. Our server was pleasant and checked on us often. Nice decor. Even better menu. It takes a moment to get food but it is fresh and flavorful. There are lots of options. They even have Mexican sodas (with real sugar!!) as well as a decent bar, and some beers. Will come here again when I visit family!!

Everything was amazing. Attentive waitress but not overbearing. Food was spectacular. If you want authentic Mexican food this is the place to go.

The food was delicious and I couldn't believe the price. The portions are huge and the flavor was amazing. The service was great . I really enjoyed my experience there.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Athens. Good portions, excellent sauces, and the best service. We always have a good experience when we go. I always get the Mexi Tacos, which are authentic tacos with steak, onion and cilantro on two stacked soft corn tortillas with green hot sauce.

My visit was great, waitress tricia was amazing she treated us like family and took greaf care of us. She does a freat job with large parties bc that is what we was she made sure we was took care and all the people around us

We had a party of 12 and Tricia was our waitress and she done amazing. She has the best attitude and she went above and beyond

Very good food!! The guacamole that they give you with your salsa. I ate all of that. I did not share one ounce of that it was so good. I am not ashamed to say I'm stingy with good food.

What excellent food and service. My wife and I are so glad we for this restaurant. Everyone was so polite and professional and the food is soooooo good

This is one of my favorite places in Athens to eat. Been going for years. ALWAYS love the food, and the staff is always very friendly!

My Husband and I went in today Cheyenne T was am Amazing waiter she went above and beyond and had the most upbeat,outgoing,Friendliest personality we could of ask for. Also the food was AMAZING and we will DEFINITELY be back

Excellent place to eat! Our first time here, and EVERYTHING was delicious! I had the Pork Burrito and my wife the Shrimp Chimichanga. Both came with a side of Queso. Hers had a side or Guacamole, Sour Cream. and a side salad.

Trish was amazing waitress and never had to do without drink. Will be going back soon

Staff was friendly and eager. Food was good, esp the green salsa with chips. Delicious!

The best Tex-Mex restaurant around hands down the food is amazing! The staff is very congenial, knowledgeable, and prompt, when you come here they make you feel like part of the family. My wife, children, and I are regular patrons at Monterrey its the absolute best

So good!! The Birria Tacos and Monterrey Bowl are my favorites.

Food was delicious and everyone was very friendly.

No complaints at all. Great food and service even in the after church rush. Staff is friendly. Tip: if you're wondering why you weren't given a drinking straw, open your napkin roll haha!
