Love the tour - super cute I think it was $8.50/person. The ice cream is good too but you have to pay $1 extra if you want any flavor other than chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry. Kinda nickel and dime you but still a fun experience

We recently visited again for the 100th birthday celebration. My daughter and her friends loved it! Ice cream is always delicious. Staff is always friendly.
Also, the factory tour (last year) was a nice experience. I do recommend calling in advance to make sure they are running both milk and ice cream lines.

OMG super yummy ice cream. With specialty and novelty flavors available. Fun kids area. The tours are closed on Saturday but the ice cream and gift shop are open

You can enjoy ice cream from the ice cream parlor without having to tour the dairy. All the flavors of ice cream are delicious. All of them. Trust me. I had ice cream and the kids had milkshakes, and everyone left happy.

This place was pretty cool! We went on the tour. They show you how to make ice cream and milk. They serve a free scoop of ice cream as well. The ice cream was delicious. They don't let you take pictures or videos whilst touring for privacy reasons which is understandable. I took a few pictures of the gift shop and the outside. Definitely worth going if you're in the area.

We enjoyed this place very much. I loved their mint chip chocolate Icecream!!! I love baskin robins but this one is actually super good. Tour was good and gift shop has lot of merchandise too. Definitely recommend.

Came here pick up load ..The warehouse docks and shipping office is on slack road .take a turn to slack rd it say gate number 1 .take a right pass through chain fence gate ..Go straight and take a left where all the trailer parked ..park your truck and go upstairs where it say ice cream shipping for check in..they will give you dock whichever will be free first ..very fast loading..Good communication..check in and out within 1 hour

Mayfield was absolutely incredible because, how often do you get a tour of a milk and ice cream factory. I went in with high hopes and I really enjoyed it. I got to see how milk was packaged and distributed and how ice cream was packaged and made as well. The employees and staff were all very friendly and they were very passionate about their line of work and what they did. I must say I was impressed with the factory and I enjoyed the ice cream at the end of the tour as well. 😁

What a great stop for any family trip around the area.

The giftshop had plenty to choose from to remember the visit.
The only unfortunate thing for us was the tours were not available the morning we went due to an inspection. But it was still fun.

The tour is $4.50 for adults. It starts out with a video on the history of Mayfield and then you begin the tour. I think the entire thing took about 30 minutes. It was very interesting to watch all the different steps. Others have said that it was hard to hear the tour guide, and I could see that especially for larger groups as the facotry is loud on places. It was just my husband and I touring when we went so I was able to hear just fine. During the tour there are several stairs and the floor is slippery for a lot of it so wear appropriate shoes. After the tour you get an ice cream scoop in a cup/sugar cone. You can upgrade to a double scoop, waffle cone, or sundae for $1. Just a single scoop costs $2.50 so it's like paying $2 for the tour. There is a little gift shop where you can buy Mayfield merch and other farmhouse items. Overall, it's a lovely experience for the price.

Great last minute place to stop and tour. Very inexpensive and ya get an ice cream too! My 11 year old enjoyed herself as well as myself. Very educational for sure. If you're in the area, stop in. That is what we did literally.. on the way back from the mountains and seen it on the attraction sign.

Mayfield Dairy Visitor Center is always a great visit. Today was Maggie the Mayfield cow's birthday. Everyone got free ice cream.

I grew up in this area and their products and story becomes part of your history. I have always loved their products and their story. If you don't understand then you should go on a tour when you are in the area. Take a try of their frozen cream and you will then see what I mean.

What a nice tour and little store to match. The free ice cream sample was an added bonus for the price of the tour.

Very interesting seeing how different things are made . Ice cream delicious. If I lived in that area I’d probably have to go there at least once a week. Employees very friendly!

You have to stop by & get the Best ice cream ever. Spectacular customer service loved everything about the place.
