Shawn and his team were a wonderful resource for us for our first home sale. From the moment Shawn stepped into our house to give an evaluation I could tell that he had the expertise to get the sale done and done fast. He noted what fixes needed to be made that would be the most economical in terms of saving us more of our equity. Shawn also has the insight on the market since he specializes in the Heights and stays on top of all the home sales in the area.

We used Shawn's list of contacts to do repairs or get quotes on repairs on our home, such as stucco painting and sealing, general repairs, and roof repair. This saved us a ton of money, since the quotes we got elsewhere were a few thousand more than his contacts. This in combination with the expertise of what to fix that would fetch the highest prices while saving the most money allowed us to pull more equity out of this sale than we would have otherwise.

Ashley, Jessica, and Stacie were also very communicative throughout this entire process and made it so easy and hands off for us. We felt well taken care of and not really stressed throughout everything, which put us at ease since we have a young child and didn't have much time to devote. Shawn and his team are great. We had our house on the market 6 months with no offers. There was nothing wrong with what our realtor was doing the house just did not attract offers. Amazing team of all-stars. Could not have been more happy with how well this team executed our sale. Shawn sold our house in 1 week when a previous realtor tried for 6 months. Phenomenal Experience!

When searching for our new house we were beyond filled with anxiety, nerves and excitement as we were looking for a specific type of house on either of one of two streets and if not one of those two streets we were prepared to wait it out (at least that is what we thought, hahaha!). With these limitations it made an already competitive market all that more competitive and of course this did not help with the anxiety that comes with home buying.

Then it seemed overnight the perfect house became available, filled with excitement and joy we submitted our first offer only to find out we were in a multiple offer situation, not what you want to hear when you finally find the house that is for you.

And this when Trey Chambers, Shawn Manderscheid, Paula Hines, Jennifer Pampolina and Ashley Crumpler became our House Heroes! <3 :)

Before we even got to this point it is worth sharing that Trey was sending us properties to look at within minutes of them becoming available on the market and when we wanted to view several of them, he was extremely fast in setting up our showings. What we also really appreciated was his invitation and willingness to meet with us face to face in his office to get a better understanding of exactly what we were looking for as well as meet the Team we were going to work with which made us feel very comfortable (and important :)). The few times I called Trey and he wasn't available, he either got back to me quickly or Shawn, Jennifer and/or Ashley would cover for him which I thought was super as my questions were always answered and I always knew exactly what was going on, both of which were very important to me.

During the multiple offer situation Trey was able to build rapport and leverage it with the Sellers Realtors while keeping us and our nerves as calm as possible and long story short, our offer was accepted over all others and the house is now ours!!!!! :)

While under contract and waiting to close, Trey and the rest of Shawn's Team were able to help me,
- schedule my inspection,
- gain access to the house multiple times,
- coordinate all paperwork and documents back and forth with the
Title Company, Survey Company,
- as well as provide recommendation for home warranty
- and renegotiated a few items we discovered along the way.

We received phone call updates and email updates which I thought was nice as we were constantly "in the know."

All this said another way and a lot shorter is, I could NOT be happier with my Realtor!

What I haven't shared with you yet is what I feel is the best of all. Being (me) a lender for close to 20 years and over those near 20 years I have directly worked with thousands of Realtors (meaning I have first hand experience working with many and of ALL of them, I picked Trey and Shawn's Team) and when it came time for me to select a real estate professional to represent me and my house search in the Houston Heights, it was a no brainer choosing them. I have worked with them before and know first hand the dedication they have to their craft, their genuine care for what they do and how the serve their Clients. Simply put, I wanted to experience that first hand and now that we have closed and the house is ours, I say without hesitation that we will be call the Shawn Manderscheid Team when we are ready to buy and/or sell our next house in the Heights and strongly feel that you should too. :)
