We had a very good experience at Coltivare. The food was truly excellent. Our orders of spaghetti, meatballs, grilled chicken, and roasted cauliflower were all expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. And the crostata for dessert was a good recommendation by our waiter.

The atmosphere was lively and vibrant, with a high energy that added to the excitement of our meal. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and provided great service throughout the evening.

Overall, Coltivare is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious Italian cuisine and a fun, energetic dining experience.

Intended to come here for a group dinner but the rest of the group canceled so my husband and I came for a date night instead. It has been at least two years since we dined here last and we certainly won’t wait another two years to come back. They didn’t always take reservations, but I am so happy that they do now! We were asked to wait in the garden when we arrived at the restaurant but our table was ready within 10 minutes. Our server gave great recommendations and all of the dishes we shared really hit the spot. We had the charred broccoli salad, grilled cabbage, bolognese and the broccoli pizza. Our only slight misstep was the pizza. It was very good but I think we both just assumed it would have mozzarella in addition to the feta listed on the menu. Our mistake and not theirs but I do prefer a cheesier pizza. Service and ambiance were both great and we were glad we ended up keeping the reservation when our friends had to cancel.

I went to Coltivare for the very first time back in 2021 for my birthday. A close friend of mine, who’s Italian, recommended me this place to me since I was hoping to eat authentic Italian food. I have yet to find another Italian spot like this one since. I’ve also been lucky enough to come when the pianist is there. The cocktails are great and so is the wine! I have yet to receive a bad wine recommendation. The pasta and the calamari?? *chef’s kiss*

Beautiful and delicious fresh food, beautiful ambiance and garden. And the mocktails were really good as well! It takes a while to get a reservation but definitely worth it. The charred broccoli salad had lots of flavor. The stuffed pasta was absolutely yummy and the sauce had deep flavor

Good spot with good food and reasonable pricing. I got takeout and ordered the dishes below and enjoyed them all. Note that the Cacio is a bigger dish than the cavatelli

- Cauliflower
- Cacio e Pepe
- Cavatelli

So many great options on the menu! Try the Salsa Verde for sure. I added the calabrian chilies to their pepperoni pizza for some extra kick and it was excellent. Finished up with an after dinner carajillo. If the weather is good the patio is a great place to dine.

Hands down the best pizza and pasta in Houston. The restaurant is lively and the overall mood is fun while still being intimate. You have to have the strawberry crostata for dessert!

Not only was the food FANTASTIC, but my sister and I were actually eating in here when the tornado/storm hit. The staff handled this so well, ensuring all of our safety, and remained calm WHILE STILL SERVING US. I cannot wait to come back for another meal.

Thank you for keeping us safe and well fed!

My favorite restaurant ever since moving to the US from Belgium 4 years ago. Dinner at Coltivare never disappoints. Staff is incredibly friendly and the food is 10/10. Would definitely recommend the Arancini, and mussels. Their seasonal menu is phenomenal, I have tried something different all 4 times I’ve come here and loved every single dish. Could not recommend this place more, and already looking forward to my next meal here !

Wow what an amazing experience. We ordered off the restaurant week menu for dinner. For starters I had grilled calamari and my wife got the eggplant dip. The grilled calamari was to die for. It came with veggies and a soup. The eggplant dip was also great and had a great depth of flavor. For our mains we had the squash pizza and the proper pasta. The bread for the pizza was fresh and flavorful and the squash made the pizza whole. The pasta was great as well. For dessert I had the olive oil cake and my wife had something like a chocolate pudding. Both were amazing and not overly sweet. We sat at the bar and the bartender was super helpful with the menu and very knowledgeable about the restaurant. We will be definitely be coming back.

Great experience, from the food to the service. We didn't intend to order this much, but it's so hard to choose from this menu. Bring an appetite, and be willing to splurge a bit, as the menu prices aren't really that expensive and you can have a fantastically memorable meal for a surprisingly reasonable price.

We came for restaurant week - AMAZING! The wine I highlighted was so tasty for a beautiful night dining on the patio. I highly recommend the focaccia, meatballs, cauliflower & black pepper spaghetti! The best meal I’ve had in awhile and the chocolate cake was a yummy touch! Can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic! The grilled Broccoli salad with pecan butter was amazing. Would recommend the mushroom pizza if it is available. Ricotta gnocchi with greens was delicious. And if you are looking for zero proof enjoy the Lord Tennison's Tonic. Heated patio.

5 stars all the way! First time here and all I can say is we were very impressed. Came on a Sunday night and to our surprise the place was hopping. We almost drove away assuming we wouldn't get a table since we had no reservation. We decided to stop anyway and see what the wait would be. They told us 30 minutes and that we could sit out in the garden or go to their sister business next door which is a bar. We decided to wait in the garden and it only took about 10 minutes for us to get the table. Our server was very good and walked us through the menu items that we had questions on. This restaurant specializes in vegetables that are seasonal and vegetables available in their own garden. We started with the focaccia bread with the burrata it was really good. The burrata came with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and was nice and crispy. We also had the spaghetti with pepper and Parmesan which is basically cacio e pepe. This was our favorite dish it was so fresh and clean very very good. I had the ravioli filled with two different types of cheese and it came with shaved truffle on top, it was also very good. We decided to also get the crispy potatoes. They were really good as well and were seasoned to perfection. The patio outside is really nice they had heaters so it felt great. Highly recommend checking this place out but make a reservation if possible. We didn't have room for dessert this time but we will definitely try something next time we're here.

Those random moments where you just go with the flow... those last minute plans...

@coltivarehtx was exceptional!! That sums up our experience perfectly. When you enter the doors you're greeted by a lively room of diners. A sophisticated rustic interior that is dimly lit is a pleasant first impression. We opted for the patio and were surprised by the expansive hidden oasis that was beyond the restaurant doors. It was simply divine. Lush overgrowth of all kinds of wonderful varieties of plants and fresh herbs. Ingredients that would soon be presented at our table.

The food was incredible. Insanely fresh, hot and bursting with flavor. I could describe each dish individually but it's not necessary. Everything was foodgasmic!!
The service was also wonderful. Friendly, fast and extremely knowledgeable of everything related to the menu and restaurant. Generous portions and very well priced menu.

We will most definitely be back!! This was truly a wonderful dining experience. A must try!

We went there and tornado happened 5 mins after we sat there. Power was off and was hard to actually continue working in the kitchen specifically but they still served what we ordered. Food was absolutely delicious, service and staff were amazing. Would definitely go back again.

Everything about Coltivare is top top notch. The service is fantastic. They’re upscale without being snobby. Kind when they tell you the bar is not open on a Friday night (ha ha ha…what was I thinking )…never made us feel badly for standing at the bar waiting for our table but offers cocktails etc.
Incredible meal. Every plate (we shared several) was flavor forward. My absolute favourite was definitely the black pepper pasta but truly every single dish was top notch quality.
I’ll come back soon!!!

Amazing food and service! Must get The Space Between drink, artichokes, lemon pea ricotta, grilled cabbage (heard it’s going away), chicken prosciutto pizza, and gnocchi. Definitely come back next time I’m in Houston!
