Update: It took me couple days to get the matter resolved, but I was fortunate enough to get in touch with the right people to explain my situation. The store manager explained to me that during the holidays some gift cards were discontinued and that unfortunately some cards may have not been pulled out of the shelves. She was very sorry and apologetic and honestly I felt that they truly cared. I currently use their printing services and always have a positive experience.

I bought a Target gift card for $100 at this location. The card didn’t work. I called Target to ask for assistance and I was sadly informed that the Target gift card I purchased in Staples didn’t exist in the Target system.

I was at Staples located at 6022 E. Sam Houston Pkwy. N. Houston, Tx. 77049 and was having a difficult with trying to print an email. Sean, That works in the Print Department came to assist me and I was still having problem. He stopped what he was doing to come assist me. He showed me how to save the E-Mail and had me send it to him. Sean was great representation as a Staples employee.Thanks Sean 💪🏾💪🏾💯💯💯

🏆⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Lorin was incredibly helpful with my missing order! It was returned to the sender and she even located it with incomplete information. She gave me accurate phone numbers and even called back with additional information that I needed.

Staple’s Customer Service couldn’t help and understanding their incredibly thick accents was problematic. Apparently my needs were also outside of the script. Without an order number beginning with #9 they were useless.😬
Between FedEx and UPS five packages were lost. Three of my neighbors packages were dropped off at my address, so I delivered them. 🎄🧑🏽‍🎄🎁🎁🎁MERRY CHRISTMAS

Further proof of STAPLE’s incompetence:
While I was typing this review, I received a call from a STAPLES driver 10 minutes away, who was sent to pick up return items. There are no return items!
Staple’s returned all of my Apple products because they insist that I live in Apartment #1 and didn’t bother to call, text or email me. It doesn’t matter how many times I correct that apartment number. It’s still remains in their system as APARTMENT #1.
This country is in major trouble. 🇺🇸
I experience next level incompetence weekly from businesses. It’s just fricking routine in every area of my life. From A to Z!

The girl who answered the phone for my curbside pick up was very sweet. Seems like so many places have employees with attitudes that simple manners can go such a long way. Also the guy who came out was equally polite and helpful.

Vanessa, who helped me in the printing center, was absolutely amazing.

I am getting married in December and October 30th I was addressing wedding invitations when someone realized the return addresses were printed inaccurately. I was panicking unsure how we were going to get this fixed when they came from a professional printing company. Vanessa stayed late about 20 minutes past the store closing seeing how desperate I was, and helped me find a label that worked with our wedding colors, found the matching font and size from the original text, and made it work so that we could finish addressing that night. She was SERIOUSLY a lifesaver. Thank you so much, this employee deserves a bonus and some serious recognition for her awesome attitude and going above and beyond to help customers.

I called and was lucky to have spoke to Brianna who happened to be very helpful and professional young lady. She helped me locate a hard to find toner for my workplace Cannon printer. Nice, easy to get to location and peaceful store.

The newly promoted Assistant Manager assisted me very well yesterday 07/12/2021 sorry, forgot his name; he was the one who didn't have the code yet to apply the clearance discount (If you read this). He didn't hover like a used car sales man and left me alone to sit in and try every office chair in the store numerous times over and over. The one I finally found was ironically on clearance and the display item which was in the very corner of the store practically out of site was quite broken but it was the one I actually wanted after I sat in it. He dug through a ton of heavy boxes in the back and I asked him if he could carry this 80 LB item out to my car because frankly, I just didn't want to do it. He happily carried to the register, took care of me, carried it out to my car and loaded it. I guess I just enjoyed that he did it with a chik-fil-a my pleasure kind of attitude and didn't even cringe for a second if I asked if he'd just carry it out for me. My first and only time in a Staples in my entire life and now the reason; hopefully because that kind of customer care will continue, will be why I will go to this store for in-store shopping for certain items instead of online ordering.

Also - The older tall gentleman working the printer services was extremely quick to get me help and direct me to a different part of the store accurately which never usually happens with a person in that position, so kudos to you too.

I went in to get something printed and laminated. Sean at the print-shop was awesome. He knew what I wanted, made suggestions that made sense and finished my order quickly and accurately. Everyone else who worked there that spoke to were also nice and helpful The store is clean and seemed well stocked. Though I didn't confirm this, my instincts tell.me they have a wide variety of paper binding equipment....so if that's your jam.....

My experience with the store employees have always been exemplary. I use the printing service department quite often over the past few years. Sean has been the most helpful, knowledgable, and his service has been more than commendable. Thank you Sean for the attention to detail.

I have gotten my business cards printed here for the last 4 years

Once I arrived home, I realized why I stopped using a particular divider set. Needing them for my workshop tomorrow, I rushed back to store to exchange them for new dividers. I had receipt emailed to me, and did not have email on hand. The clerk said a copy had printed after left the store, and she placed it in trash. Well she rifled through trash, located it, and completed my return, saving me time and money. I love Staples anyway, but she saved my night!

Emmanuel in the printing department was super helpful. He was very knowledgeable of the service, walked me through my phone and was super friendly. He really made me feel so welcomed. Thank you Emmanuel!!

First time in store. Excellent customer service. The sales clerk took me to where the the items I was looking for were located. I have never received this type of a customer service at Office Depot / Office Max.
