Boomtown Coffee

Nice coffee spot in the underground. They know how to pull a shot of espresso and how to froth your milk the way it should be. Not unbelievably hot.

My first time here I asked for recommendations of what to try, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I mentioned that I usually get iced coffee because hot coffee takes too long to be drinkable, and was told they can
lower the temperature when brewing! I didn't realize this was an option and was glad for the offer. I definitely recommend the Milk and Honey and can't wait to try something new on my next visit.

I didn’t get the man’s name, but he was so kind! We’re visiting from out of town and he was like our personal travel agent lol. And he specially made me a caramel macchiato which isn’t on their menu:)

A great place to stop and take a break for folks working downtown, Boomtown is a cool spot at Understory. The best thing about Boomtown is that it's always good: I have a hard time passing by their stand and not getting an iced latte, because they're so good. The espresso is strong but not overpowering.

I've never had service that wasn't friendly here. If you're in the mood for a consistent coffee experience with a chance to people-watch, I'd definitely recommend it.

There's a 20% discount for building tenants and the rewards program helps me being a regular!

My favorite beans in the city, now accessible through the tunnels. Love the coffee here and the baristas are always nice. Highly recommend.

This place is a hidden gem, they have a nice selection of coffee, I got an iced coffee and it was awesome! I'm so excited to try other items when I get back.

My first time visiting the Understory location and we loved it! We ended up here after visiting another near by coffee shop and leaving due to bad service. Everything happens for a reason because my girlfriend can't stop talking about wanting to go back - she got one of their seasonal drinks an repeatedly said it was the best latte she has ever had. Oh yeah, and we took some fun pics while we were there! Highly recommend! We will be back.

Located in the basement which is a very open space with great atmosphere. Cappuccino was perfect and bought doing beans too. Also, the staff was chill and friendly. Only trouble is parking if you are driving there.

Since the big location downtown closed, this is a great alternative in a really cool spot with lots of other stuff around it. Of course the coffee is great, we all know that already right? Haha

It’s so hard to find a place that makes the perfect iced coffee and this place nailed it! The workers are also very welcoming and in a happy mood (:

My fave is the Mayan Mocha with extra cayenne and oat milk - hot AF!!! To die for !!!!
Also love the Johnny Cash ... enough caffeine to wake up anyone!

Best coffee shop downtown

I was disappointed when their main st. location closed when Covid hit, so I'm glad to see them at understory. Flat White with Oat milk was ~$5

A bit pricey but it was worth every penny. The food presentation and the staff was amazing

I work on the opposite end of downtown, but I walk over to this place to get my Mocha Toddy. Plus the smiles and conversation with the staff.

A beautiful spot in the Bank of America tower.

Best drip coffee in the tunnels.
