Ther wasn't a wait to be seated, our server was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and most of the items on the menu are homemade and definitely taste homemade as well. I like the calm environment.

Cozy, comfy, casual restaurant with good food options including home-cooked, Tex-Mex, and more. Sandwiches and hamburgers looked good here. We enjoyed our steak fajita quesadilla, IH-35 special, and pot roast as well as our sides. Daily food and drink specials. Lunch specials during the week. Clean and country themed restroom. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. Onion rings are huge, and flavorful! Also recommend the broccoli rice casserole. The appetizers also seemed appetizing, but we’ll have to try some next time as we weren’t too hungry today.

We had a very large group that wouldn't fit in there back room. They were able.to accommodate us very well.
I had there burger on a sour dough bun and it was amazing. The food was brought out fast for the size of group we had, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will Definitely return.

We saw the mixed reviews! Our experience was great. The place was a little busy but we were able to sit in the bar. Eric hurried over and got the order. The fried mushrooms are amazing! I was full by the time the salad got there. My husband said the pinto beans were spot on! The water tastes good, they make their own Ranch Dressing (has Mayo), the music was good and kept changing genre. The grilled chicken salad with veggies on the side was so delicious. The zucchini was grilled to perfection, soft with just a bit of crispy. The place made our day with fast service and great food. Thank you Eric! We will be back.

Great food! Chef made the chicken strips into boneless wings. Easy enough...but it's been a long day at a training expo in Dallas. Great atmosphere. Great drinks. Eddy did us right!

Food was actually extremely good. Steak was perfect and so was everything else. Salad had great lettuce instead of that nasty iceberg. Two thumbs up for this place. I will be back.

It is a tad bit expensive but it is absolutely worth the money. I ordered the fried mushrooms as an appetizer for my table and I expected something small, they were actually decent sized, plenty to share and tasted amazing. I ordered the fish and it wasn’t dry, it was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be going back

Had the best chicken dinners I had anywhere and the "world famous gravy" lives up to its name. Our service was amazing, checked on us just the right amount, not too m7ch but always when we needed him. A definite do-over and worth the drive.

This place was really good. We had a great server here named James. First of all we started with an appetizer combo and yes it was amazing. The jalapeño egg rolls were my favorite, but it was all extremely good. Everything here is homemade from scratch. We aren't from this area, but if you're ever in Hillsboro I highly recommend this place!

It has a comfortable atmosphere whether you are a single, a few friends or a family. The food I had was very good and my waitress pleasant and helpful. Good food at reasonable prices.

Mushrooms were delicious. Chicken fajitas were tender, just no flavor. Chicken fried chicken was good. Glad we stopped it was a great restaurant.

I had the Diablo shrimp tacos and my daughter had the surf and turf tacos. Both had sweet potato fries. These dishes was so good! The corn tortillas were slightly charred to perfection and the sauces for these tacos were incredible. The sweet potato fries were thinner and good tasting. Stopped by early Friday evening. Service was good, food came out in a reasonable time and the atmosphere is comfy. We will eat here again!

The Bubba is my new favorite!!! Enjoyed the food every visit. Great staff.

Had not been there in a while.... my concern with Lone Star is it's hit or miss. Last time wife and I ate there food was not as good just barely warm. The menu has changed a lot since last visit.... catfish is fried, used to be a lemon pepper seasoned dish, but was still VERY good.

Great atmosphere, quick service, Steaks awesome, prices good . Margaritas need a bigger punch!

Stopped by here on our way back home and the food was delicious! I ordered the full order of bean and cheese nachos with chicken fajita and they were fantastic! The service was great as well with our server constantly checking on us to make sure our food and experience was great. The prices were very good as well. Would recommend stopping by here.

Good chicken fried steak and dessert. Waiter was friendly and efficient. Dropped by on our way from an out of town football game. Will go again next time we're in the area.

The food was fantastic. Prices are reasonable. Atmosphere is great. Waitstaff not so good.

Went for lunch with a friend. A young man, not real young, man was walking by our table. My friend asked where she could buy a shirt like his. He stated that they were out of stock on the shirt.
A few minutes later, he returned with the shirt in a bag. She was very excited that he gave her the shirt off his back.

The food was good also. 👍

Also, they have an area where you can smoke and play adult games.

Ordered the 10oz ribeye with salad, and baked tater. Salad was delicious with cucumbers, onions and crutons and decent sized. Steaked was cooked perfectly and flavorful! Baked potatoe was one of the best I've had, wasn't dry at all. Definitely recommend trying this place.
