Classic, small town Texas fare. Warm and inviting people, modest menu largely comprising of meat and carbs (not the spot for vegans or those with dietary restrictions). Servers take turn serenading the dining room with their microphone and classic country songs. Exceptionally modest prices for solid food options. Hand written checks lead to counter check out. A lovely dose of nostalgia with wholesome values in the sweet Decatur square. I enjoyed it enough to go twice during my work trip to Bridgeport / Decatur.

Great food and even better service. Our server sang into a microphone during our stay and never missed a beat. She refilled my water while carrying a tune. Then helped people who had just arrived get seated, prepared the bread and butter and brought it to them. Still singing the whole time and sounding quite good.

They cut your steak fresh and cook to order..melts in your mouth. A little on the expensive side but if you enjoy a very good steak you'll have it here. Service very friendly and your drink glass never empty! Will definitely be back.

This was an awesome stop in Decatur! Margaret was the best and gave us the best service possible! The food was very well prepared but VERY salty. Overall we loved our meal and were delighted by the restaurant.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and positive energies. Out sever was very helpful and courteous, foods were on point and perfect. Needless to say, we will definitely be back even though it's a long drive from Houston. We absolutely love it. Thank you

Got there Sunday about 1:15p after service. Had the shishkebob medium well with filly loaded baked potatoe and grilled veggies. Superb! Then had Apple pie with sauce and vanilla ice cream. Again superb!! Had them split the pie to take half home because I could only hack half a piece. That apple pie sauce is amazing.

First time here and we wasn’t disappointed. The chili was one of the best I’ve had. The chicken fried steak was melt in your mouth good. The cowboy custard is very very well worth the eat. The atmosphere here is awesome even the singing waitresses was cool. We will be back very soon I expect.

Was warmly greeted by receptionist and quickly brought to my table. Went on a Tuesday night so wasn’t especially busy. Decor was rustic but very clean.

This establishment is smaller than I thought but there is a lot of seating. All of the staff was very friendly. We went at a random time, around 1:45pm. While we were eating a server started to sing Strawberry Wine & she did an excellent job! That was a fun, unexpected twist. We can't wait to go back & try the steak.

I had one of the best gluten free experiences I have ever had here!🥰 The kitchen manager came out & spoke with me about what was gluten free, showed me the flour they use & even have homemade gf cookies that are all made when ordered! The flavor on everything was out of this world!🤤 He was very knowledgeable & handled /double checked my order to make sure all was taken care of properly! A must visit even for a celiac! I will definitely got back of I'm in the area again!😊

Awesome service, staff were ALL super attentive kind and friendly. This place can be flexible as far as upscale and formal but at the same time somewhat casual. Food was great!

We had to wait an hour to get in due to a fire next door, but the food was very good. The macaroni and cheese was exactly like what my grandma used to make. The ribeyes were awesome and tender. The hot rolls were so good. It was well worth the wait.

Chicken tenders and chicken fried steak the best! Not fatty or greasy! Chicken fried steak thin and not over cooked. Perfect.
Rolls are good with sweet butter! Salad amazing! Yum.
Of course we enjoy the entertainment with having the waitress sing around restaurant!

Absolutely amazing! Was so shocked to find such amazing food in such a small town. This steakhouse was a little on the pricey side, but honestly for the quality of food and service is less pricey than most others on the same level would be! Even during rush hour our wait wasn't very long. Best steak I think I've ever had, and their seasonal strawberry pie was so SO good. We also even got some live entertainment when our waitress had a break she sang a song so well I thought it was still the radio until I saw her with the mic.

Stopped here for lunch while on our way to New Mexico. Great place! In a small town like Decatur, you feel right in Texas. Great atmosphere, great food, and fun to be there.

It was an amazing time visiting there. It's a great small town restaurant. Kendra was amazing, she made us feel welcome. It's a great place to eat, way better than the local fuzzys.
