Harmon Park

Good place to sit while you watch your children play. It would have been perfect, were it not for the older teenagers who were playing so roughly on the children's zip line, that it was a danger for any child that wandered to close. They sure won't last long with treatment like they were getting.

Legitimately great park with a zip line and lots of variety to keep kids occupied. No pets on the park turf, the only bathroom is a port a potty.

My daughter and i loves this park it's a little bit of of everything in one swimming, park, ice cream, mini golf, and more 🥰

Great park and baby friendly I dare say. People in the community are also friendly. My 1 yr old is very busy and I love how much space they have for kids to run around and play at the playground. So much variation of play sets and the xylophones are a plus for me. I do hope this park won’t get vandalized a lot cuz I noticed some writings on some walls/surfaces already.

Great park, it's new, fun for kids of all ages, clean, plenty of seating for adults and plenty of parking. There are 2 portables on the other side of the parking lot if you need to use the restroom as well (better than nothing). There is a small skate park as well adjacent to the park, for those well versed in the ways of all things that roll!

Great playground with slides, zipline, merry-go-round, and more. There are also picnic areas with shade.

Such a fun park with SO much to do. Awesome wheel chair accessible activities on the play ground. Even has a skate park My kiddo loved the zip line and the light game. Great park right next to the ball field!

Decent parking. Play spot for toddlers and for big kids.
Skate park lets kids practice wheeled toys like roller skate, skate boards, and bikes.

It was a nice park. They even have swings you can roll a wheelchair onto. The turf is nice and cushy so kids don't get hurt as bad when they fall. The kids all loved the ziplines but they were both level so someone has to actually push or it's no fun.

Awesome new playground equipment with something for all ages. Very inclusive and even had some wheelchair accessible parts to the play equipment. Multiple slides, a climbing wall, zipline, seesaw, merry-go-round, swings, a skate park, and a covered area with tables for picnics.
I did not see the wooden playground that is shown in some of the pictures for this park. I think the new equipment replaced that. I'm not from Decatur, but I would totally make the detour again to stop here!

My wife and I really enjoyed the park before they (completely) redid the park. And to be honest we were a little upset that they took the old one down because that park has been a big part of our kids up bringing. But the new park is AWESOME there's a lot to to for all ages and they have a bunch of wheelchair accessible locations that is the coolest thing I have seen in a while.. they did a great job on the remake. 👍 (THANK YOU CITY OF DECATUR)

I love this park, especially now that the city re did the whole thing! There are things for both smaller and bigger kids. It can keep my kids entertained for hours!

Great place to go with the kids!

Entire park is fenced in and has one entrance and exit so it is ideal for my little ones to run around without worrying about them wandering off. The park is split into two separate areas. One for younger kids with slides, sand pit, and little tunnels here and there. The other is for the older kids with a castle and slide, bridge, spider bridge, and monkey bars. Great for the whole family.

Awesome playground and park for all aged kids. My 3 daughters had a blast there!!

This park is so much fun for the family! It's perfect for toddlers to older kids!
