Eleazar Vera MD

I started using Dr. Vera as my primary care physician about 3 years ago. From the start, Dr. Vera was extremely knowledgeable, caring, and detailed. I have never had a doctor who would sit and listen to me, as well as provide their expertise like Dr. Vera has. He will never rush you or blow your concerns off whatsoever, and he genuinely does care about the overall well-being of his patients. I would recommend Dr. Vera to anyone and everyone, he is truly a fantastic physician as well as his office staff and nurses. Whenever I needed to make an appointment last minute, I have never had issues in the three years I’ve gone to this office, which is very comforting. If you are looking for a primary care doctor in the Lindale/Hideaway area, I cannot recommend Dr. Vera, his nurses, and office staff enough.

Dr. Vera has been my primary care physician for almost 20 years. He is compassionate, thorough, knowledgeable, and never rushes me thru an appointment. He gives excellent care and always shows concern my family.

I saw Dr. Vera for the first time today and he was very nice and caring. He took the time to ask me questions about what my situation was. he thoroughly inspected a cyst on my leg and recommended that I see a surgeon to remove it. I feel as though this Dr knows what he's talking about. I would definitely go see him again

Dr. Vera is a very educated MD who keeps up with all general medical topics. I am a retired CRNA and I'm quite picky when it come to my medical care. I trust him completely. The office staff is great, understanding, and compassionate. This practice is a jewel in the crown of UT.

Dr. Vera is the best physician I’ve ever had. He’s genuinely caring about me and my health. He calls right back when I have a need, and he treats me like I’m his only patient. He’s amazing!

Impressed! Inspite of my grouchy attitude the entire staff was extremely courteous and made me feel like my concerns were valid. Will highly recommend. I do believe our search for a primary health provider is over.

I have been going to Dr Vera for a number of years. You don’t need an appointment which has been a blessing to myself and my husband on several occasions. Dr Vera always takes the time to listen to my concerns and address those concerns.

UPDATE
Not sure what changed but Dr Vera missed a couple of serious conditions. My husband had skin cancer on the back of his neck and although he mentioned it to the doctor on several occasions, he was told not to worry about it. We made our own appointment with a dermatologist and found it was cancer. I had swelling in my ankle and was told it was my shoes. A couple of months later he looked at it again and we found I had a blood clot. We are no longer his patients and would NOT recommend him to anyone again.

The ladies that work there are awesome. As far as the doctor, don’t waste your time like he did mine.
Didn’t even ask me how I was doing. I walked out on him because his bedside manner isn’t something I would allow. We have a choice of who we choose as our primary care doctor and I would rather pay out of pocket cost than use him.
I had read the reviews for him but thought no way could a doctor be that bad. He actually got me to write my first bad review.

This jackass quack made us wait weeks until the appointment only to not see my child because they had a low fever. This joke of an MD couldn't aid a 5 year old and said we needed to go to an ER. Yes, and ER for a low fever where they are over run with COVID. So instead of prescribing something to help he wanted to put him in real danger. If you put your life in his uncapable hands, you deserve what you get.

Worst dr. Ever dnt listen and treated me for 5 years for bipolar schizophrenia and moved back to see him and he treated me like I was nothing kept asking for my ears to be looked at he didn't look and ddint even say bye. He told me I dnt fill out papers for people I dnt have a secretary I dnt get paid enough for that. I was so ashamed to pay him anything wish I had just walked out. I cried all the way home.

It was the slowest place ever , they short with you , 3 hours wait , couldn't wait anymore, left. Never seen doctor , waste of gasoline and time. Pray he sees this .
