Staats Mill Covered Bridge

This is an excellently preserved historic covered bridge in very nice Cedar Lakes park. My good friend Ed Landis had a hand in the restoration of this bridge. There is plenty of parking, fishing, playgrounds, historic cabins, a lodge and a putt putt golf course with a minature covered bridge.

Beautiful area of Jackson County, West Virginia! Wheelchair accessible, which I think is so awesome! Love the old log cabin school very close by!!! Play ground for the kids was well-maintained and kept. Very photogenic area, glad they keep it well-maintained, will be back when the Fall Foliage is better this year, Can’t wait to see it again

My daughter got married at cedar lakes recently and it is a great venue for a casual event.

This was a fun little stop. Nice equipment for the kiddos to get out and play. The bridge is super cute and they have bathrooms.

Cedar lakes is a great place for easy walking, with more challenging trails in the woods. The bridge is the jewel in its verdant crown, taken from the Statts Mills community about 5 miles away after a government watershed project flooded its home. And yes, locals know it should be spelled with one "a" and 2 "t"s.

This is at cedar lakes..a small park where families can do a lot of activities.. me and my son like to geo cache here

Have gone here a couple times a week to eat lunch. Nice shelter nearby and a playground, really can't beat it for a place to hang and eat lunch.

Great little stop. Covered bridge and activities like mini golf and frisbee gold.

Beautiful and relaxing place to walk and enjoy historic and natural beauties.

Always a treat to be at Cedar Lakes. Definitely a must stop.
