StateLine Tavern & Grill

Deceiving from the outside but beautiful on the inside. Cold beer and good service, that is all you need on a hot day. I am from South Africa and was on a trip through to Alabama. The bar lady was very friendly and helped me with a choice of good local beer. I will definitely be back.

Stopped in on our way from Fort Payne AL to Atlanta on a rainy Wednesday night. Usual tavern menu, burgers, fries, chicken. But real home cooking and down-home friendliness. Marjorie took a kindly interest in us, strangers as we were. Very tasty food, delicious onion rings, good value for the money. Relaxed, country music in the background and somebody shooting pool.

We just moved to the area in Rome and found this little place online that said was biker friendly and had pool tables as well as food and cold beer! The bartender Crystal or Krystal welcomed us when we came in and immediately ask if we needed anything. She was very friendly and checked on us numerous times while we were playing pool. The atmosphere inside was very nice. I guess some kind of pickle festival was going on and there were other bikes that showed up and all the people were nice also. I had some of the best garlic parmesan wings and Crystal kept checking on us throughout our stay there. She was there with one of the ladies I think who was doing the cooking which I saw other food being brought to some of the people from the pickle festival that looked delicious. Next time I want to try something else on the menu. The beer was really cold which for me that's the only way I can finish a beer if it's ice cold lol otherwise once it starts warming I usually let it sit there. They have a very nice courtyard in the back set up with tables with umbrellas that you can go out and smoke. They had Keno, lottery, slot machines, various TVs with sports channels and a few other things I've never heard of lol. All in all me and my husband had a great time playing pool and eating lunch at this tavern.

We had so much fun. Food was yummy, service was awesome and the live music was great. Enjoyed it very much.

Very polite staff I had a good time took a while to get drinks but I was sitting at end of the bar away from everyone else so my fault I'll check food out next time

Great place to have a good time. The chicken fingers are amazing and had an awesome time playing pool and doing a little karaoke. The girls behind the bar are the best ever and doing awesome job.

Tuesday I was driving from Rome to Centre Alabama and had a back tire blow out! The closest place I could merge off safely happened to be The State Line Tavern. As I get out to access the issue a pretty young lady (I believe was the manager) and another gentleman (I believe was the owner) came out and asked if I needed help. Being that I didn't have a jack 🤦🏾‍♂ they offered to get a jack from a house behind the business and change my tire in the pouring rain I must add. After, I tried to pay $40 for helping me but they REFUSED. All they ask was for me to come back for dinner, have a beer and shoot pool 🎱 and that I will do.... Very good people I met that day at The State Line Tavern!! 💪🏾

Christy & the girls there are great. You get good service & excellent drinks & food. We love their karaoke on Fri. & Sat. nights.

We went out to be with friends. The food was delicious and the waitress could not have been nicer. I don’t sing myself, but I enjoy watching people especially ones who are brave enough to get up and sing. Check out my mom and our friend Marvin. Who says you can’t have fun in your nineties. PS the owner Allen is super nice. He has done a great remodeling job. Go check it out.

Great local business, friendly staff and customers

Great food. Great folks. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. It's a complete turn around from the reputation it had. If it wasn't a 21 & up place it would be somewhere I'd take my kids.

Had a blast with local friends here! If you're goin for karaoke bring your A game!!

Fun place to play ding dings or scratch some lottery tickets, food is really good, pool tables, dart boards, keno all around decent place. I enjoyed it.

It's awesome place great people they just need to get a new bouncer he seems a little too old and slow to be good at his job and he's also kind of weak saw him get beat up by a chick.
