I visited late Sept on a week day. Camp ground was near empty and we got the closest tent site to the lakeshore. About a hundred yards downhill. Very quiet, clean. No luck with fishing but it’s probably because of a bad set up. Nevertheless, I had a great time relaxing. I think I paid like $15 or so. Easy-to-collect fire wood was everywhere. Ten minutes away from Walmart for any supplies. Attendant was a nice gentleman who was readily accessible with a phone call. I will visit again soon.

Great small campground, well kept and quiet on our site (18); friendly and very helpful staff. It has a wonderful variety of shade trees with many of the sites having built in porches. The fishing areas are nice but would have loved longer hours open (understandable however with limited staff). The property joins the RTJ golf course and, of course, that is never a bad neighbor!
We will return!

Very nice RV campground. Easy to access in and out. There are plenty of trees and picnic tables. Easy site has a picnic table. The sites are level concrete and asphalt. We had trouble with our tow vehicle and Jesse was more than willing to help us with a site for the night. Relaxing area close to the lake. Highly recommended this campground.

The fellow that helped us was very pleasant and easy going. It's a pretty place with a nice camp ground and a lake. They also have many walking trails. We're A BIG rig and did fine getting in.

Nice quiet Park. We came here to play the RTJ courses nearby. The RV park is a few minutes away from the golf course. Level sites, quiet, spacious and $30 per night - we will do this again!

Stayed Friday and Saturday nights in October 2021. Site 36 full hook up. Level side to side. Slight downhill toward front. Staff great. Less than 10 Minutes to interstate. Minimal noise from road. Close to RTJ golf course. Will stay here again. Did not use lake or day use areas.

Great little campground. Quiet and safe. Pulled in after hours and grabbed a spot in the full hookup section pull-thru. Just stayed for a layover on our way to Destin and it was perfect. If I was in the area longer, would definitely use this as my home base.

Great place to enjoy the nature. The nature was everywhere and it was great. There was a lot of people fishing in the little lake. Everyone was happy. Great day.

Beautiful full hookup pull-through campsite - directions to the park was easy to follow with the GPS. We stayed at spot 1, which overlooked lots of trees. Too bad it was too cold and we couldn't sit outside. There is a deck with built in benches and a picnic table. It's all wood and needs a little TLC, but it would be great to have meals on. We didn't disconnect our toad since we were only here for the night. It is nice and quiet in February.
We camped at Sherling Lake Park in a Motorhome.

Wow!!! What a great campground. We have a Beautiful view of the woods. The man that runs the campground is amazing and so friendly and helpful. Easy access to campground. We were going to stay one night on our way to Florida, however we decided to stay two. You will love this campground and the great price.

We stayed at the campground over night on our RV trip to Pigeon Forge. Got there a little after 6pm. The gentleman in the office stayed there for us and helped us to our site. We payed our $30 for full hookup and he took us to our site. Take cash or check cause they do not take credit card. No big deal.

When I got to my site the annoyed lady in the site that was in front of me decided she didn’t want to move her vehicle from behind her travel trailer so that I could un hook my truck from my fifth wheel. It was her parking spot she says. So I kindly said okay told the gentleman escorting is to our spots and he said okay take that on over there then. Two spot down in a better spot I moved. To easy.

I regret not staying at this park more than a day because it was a beautiful park with great staff and the most level spots I have been on in a while. Thank you to the staff and the price is super awesome.

This is a beautiful city park with both pull through and back in sites. The operators are friendly and helpful. Cost is reasonable. No pool, no bath house, no laundry, but just a pretty green park. Sites are decently spaced and mostly level. A few spaces are close, but would be ideal for parties traveling together. In addition, you pass Bates House of Turkey on your way in, with the best free range Turkey EVERYTHING.

Great place! Very nice, friendly staff, who escorted us to our full hookup site. Wooded, clean, very well maintained, lots of grass and places to walk your dog. Sites were level and paved. Very quiet, but close to stores and restaurants. Nice place to fish, with benches and picnic areas. Definitely will be back.

Hidden gem. Great! Large, even sites, 2 covered- large picnic areas, full hookups, only 4 miles off hwy. Nice waking trail. It has a bathhouse and sites have a fire pit, picnic table, and BBQ. Great views, lots of trees. We would definitely stay again.

Well what can I say.......I am originally from Greenville and moved from there when I was 12. We planned a "first-time" trip and thought we would try somewhat close to home just in case since we had 3 small kids with us. The park was great! It was quiet, clean and staff was friendly too. Since we were in a pop-up style camper we also relied on the bathrooms and showers there in the campground and they were also very clean and stocked. We grilled out while the kids played and everyone had an awesome time.

I was actually surprised how busy this campground is (i guess bc I'm from there and just never knew) how many people stop in there to camp. On the lane we stay, about 15 additional campers & motor homes came in after us which was a big surprise for us when we got up the next morning. Even so, it was all a quiet place. Definitely a spot to try out

Beautiful setting not too far off of I-65, but far enough to be quiet. Nice trail and easy access to the lake. Friendly and helpful staff. WiFi is decent as well.
