food wasn't expensive and was very good. they also have kids meals and they eat it so fast. they also feature Alabama white sauce which can b hard to find.

The outside welcomes you with a rustic southern, relaxing charm. While walking to the door, I noticed people sitting in their cars devouring their takeout BBQ. Upon opening the door, the aroma of fresh BBQ inhabits your nose, causing your mouth to salivate. The wait is quick. Generous portions for the price. Bathrooms are exceptionally clean. Great way to end a beach trip. Don’t forget the dessert!

Excellent food!!! Pork was so tender & flavorful. Coleslaw had a great tang, not overly sweet. Mac & cheese was awesome. Husband loved his cobbler!!

When they have the food it’s amazing. Call first because when they run out, they run out!
Their smoked chicken is the best I’ve had. I love it with the marinated slaw and white sauce on a bun. So so good!

Our caravaning family of 14 from Missouri stopped here in route to Florida for lunch. The BBQ was TOP NOTCH! The turkey was so moist with great flavor and the pulled pork was heavenly! Topped it all with some amazing white sauce! We ate outside so the kids could stretch which was a nice option for us! 10/10 recommend this place! Don’t let the unassuming location fool you! Worth the pit stop!

This restaurant is located inside a gas station! But the country food is delicious and portions are huge. You Can eat in our carry out. We stop every time we are traveling through. For $12.99 you get a huge portion of bbq or other meat, 2 country sides, bread and a drink. Enough for 2 meals if you are a regular size eater.

This is a must-stop destination for my wife and I whenever we travel between Georgia and Louisiana. Anyone passing along the I-65 corridor between Montgomery and Mobile needs to give this place a try. The sides are incredible and the BBQ chicken is honestly some of the best I've ever had. Plus, you won't break the bank, and the service is always friendly.

Tried many sides. The turnip greens were fabulous, so tasty. Corn casserole and Tater tots casserole were savory. Mac n cheese was full of melty cheese. Marinated slaw was fabulous!

Very easy and simple to order. Service was good and the pork was amazing. Not to far out the way eithe. By far the best gas station bbq I’ve ever had.

I’m honestly blown away at how good this place is! Everything about it is perfect! Delicious food, clean, friendly and welcoming. The shop side is also very clean and nice. This is the definition of a hidden gem and I wish I could come once a week but I was visiting from out of town. I’ll make sure to come out of my way to visit again!

We had the pulled pork plate and it was very good. The red sauce and white sauce were good accompaniment. Mac n cheese was Rockin!

Southern soul food BBQ! We stopped twice on our trip south. It's a hidden gem we found on accident but will always go back, on purpose. I love that they have healthy lean white meat options that are smoked and amazing too

Excellent food.Quick service. BBQ ribs are scrumptious. Peach cobbler for dessert. Reasonable You know it's good when the local EMS eat lunch here. 😂

If you are traveling near BBQ65, stop. BBQ65 is the perfect place to go. The establishment is in a gas station. We got the BBQ and Chicken sandwiches. I went to another BBQ restaurant Dreamland the night before, and some of the pork was ok, and some of the pork was dry. Dreamland also didn’t give as much pork on the sandwich, and it was pulled pork. BBQ65 was perfect they used blended meat which is popular in this part of the south. Service was good. The sandwiches are a good size and worth it, and the bun wasn’t soggy, and came with one pickle. If you can’t make up your mind about what sauce you want, don’t worry, BBQ65 has two different sauces, sweet baby rays and their homemade sauce. If you are craving a good barbecue sandwich this is the place to go.

An excellent homemade café/diner/BBQ joint and gas station/convenience store all rolled into one cute wood-covered building. Café closes at 3pm. I was just passing through and ate a delicious smoked turkey sandwich, potato salad (mayo-based), and the best squash casserole next to Granny's!! That squash was so good I stopped back by on my way home and bought a bigger tub to take with me!!

This is one of the best barbecues I’ve ever had! And the mac and cheese is the best I’ve ever had! If I’m in the area, I will definitely stop again!

I only got the pulled pork sandwiches but that were AMAZING. Moist And there was plenty of meat! The extra BBQ sauce did not cost me a penny! Great idea for a small gas station attachment.

Every time I drive through Alabama (at least once a year) I make it a point to stop at BBQ 65. This is the real McCoy. Everything is amazing... literally. The pork and chicken shine, but we love the sides too- especially the mac and cheese.

Yes, it's in a gas station, but that just adds to the charm. All the workers are as nice as can be, too. I would highly recommend this place to everyone looking for truly authentic BBQ.

Just off the highway, nestled in part of a gas station, is this southern barbeque restaurant. Now, its it in a gas station, but don't let that fool you on the tastiness of the food.

One of my favorite dishes was actually the coleslaw. How, one of the better ones I have had.

I had the bbq ribs, baked beans and the coleslaw. I got the 6 bone, but could have been fine with the 4.

Delicious food at this gas stop. A hidden treasure of outstanding food! The chicken Bbq, cabbage, and Mac & cheese are stellar. Good customer service as well! I’ve been in the south now for 21 months and this small gas stop has the best Barbecue I’ve found so far!
