The Udder Cow

I have driven past this restaurant many times, but never had time to stop. I was recently in town for work and was able to stop for lunch. I ordered a small tenderloin sandwich and it was great. Unlike many tenderloins you get,this one actually has meat in it.

The menu had a nice variety of items that you would expect in a small town diner type of place. Check it out if you are in the area.

It had been a couple of years since I swung through Pocahontas and I was happy to see The Udder Cow is open again! I asked the young man what he liked for malts. His response was Raspberry and a customer piped in with Butterscotch. So we ordered two malts, one of each recommendation. And I'd have to say my daughter had her first swig of Butterscotch while I buckled my seatbelt. I had to steal my malt back! Burgers looked good. A hand breaded tenderloin was recommended by the same customer. Give this small business a try if you are on Hwy 4 North in Pokie!

Went back for the Butterscotch malt. Still on point.
The surprise was the pork tenderloin and cheese curds. The tenderloin cut have been cut with a fork. These cheese curds were so creamy. Delicious!

Wow!!!! Best grilled cheese and fries I have ever had! This place has quick and super friendly service. Very peaceful neighborhood and out of this world ice cream! I had a cherry shake that can’t be beat by anyone else!

Hello to all hey anytime you up in poky area & want some ice cream plz do stop by very Tasty Villna The worst thing is the lid didn't stay on my shake wen got to car all over hands..

We love this place! We moved to the area last year and once we found this little place we keep coming back, whether it's for lunch, dinner, or just to grab some ice cream after school. I have Celiacs and have no issue with their root beer float, fried and a burger with no bun.

The food was really good I recommend it for everybody and the people were so nice and I would go back there and eat anytime

Love everything they offer here. It's all cooked fresh from order and delicious homestyle cooking. Pork sandwich is my favorite thing of all and the owners are very friendly and go out of the way to make sure you have the best experience possible. Don't pass up the opportunity to eat here if your passing through town.

Very good little restaurant with friendly staff. Pork tenderloin was amazing and easily worth a trip half way across the state to try!
To the owner/management, play some music to add ambiance to your dining experience.

Traveling through the town and we decide we want ice cream, we see this place called The Udder Cow, we stop and happy we did, the people were friendly, the service was good, the food was good, the ice cream was fabulous, I'd say better than Dairy Queen!
