Dollar Car Rental

I booked online through Priceline and this was my first time using this company. I chose them because the price was by far the lowest. The car was ready to go when I got there to pick it up. It was a really nice vehicle, everything was clean and the gas tank was full. Returning the vehicle was easy enough. I will use again!

Ridiculous experience stay away from this company, not only did they not save us any money because they charged us for extra insurance which doubled the price without us knowing but they also refuse to refund the money. Also after loading the car they stopped us to tell us they sold the car and made us pack into a different car so just go to enterprise or hertz and save yourself some money and time because you won't save either here!

If I could give negative stars I would! They don’t disclose valuable information about your deposit and fuel charges. Their service is horrible. I was “disconnected” multiple times and couldn’t get an answer without talking to 3 people. I still have unanswered questions and at this point I don’t even care they will NEVER see my business again. And I hope you choose not to go with them or at least get better service than I did after reading this. Utterly ridiculous joke of a rental car company.

If I could give no stars I would. I went to pick up my van which was reserved on June 15th@ noon. I arrived at 1132. Donald came out at 1135. I had my mask on (he didn’t) of course he couldn’t hear me. I asked him did he want me to take it off and he heard that fine by responding no I’ll go get mines. I handed him my identification and that’s when the disappointment started. He told me that they don’t have any vans and that he tried to call me but didn’t have contact information cause I went through a “website” which I’m sure he meant 3rd party. Mind you that I have received a confirmation email that said that my rental had been confirmed. Never once did this man apologize. He made it seen like it was my fault for using the “web” Priceline to be exact. He told me he had to locate a van. A few moments passed and he said there’s one coming from Bloomington. Mind you I live 25 minutes away from the airport. He couldn’t even give me an exact time to come back. If your going to judge people by trying to get the best deal as we all know due to this pandemic money is tight, you shouldn’t except third party if your going to give the customer a hard time. Ok moving forward I said can you call me when the rental is ready. He like what’s your number? I give him my number and asked him could he please call me now so I can have the number. This man gone tell me “I have the number you gave me”. That’s my number can you PLEASE call my phone. He tells me he has another customer. So I’m not a customer? I’ve been waiting here and it’s not my fault the van isn’t ready. Here he go “YOUR RESERVATION ISNT UNTIL 12”. I know but it won’t be ready. I had to explain to him that my phone don’t take calls that are not program. Then he like we ok then call. I shouldn’t have gone through all this. I’m a customer and my money spends the same. Donald was rude and blame me and never excepted responsibility. Poor customer service! FYI the customer behind me said go ahead and that’s why he called.

Extremely RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and treats customers like GARBAGE. The service is horrible just like the car she provided. I think the only five stars she received was from herself. A bad mark on the name of Dollar. Never had this terrible experience with any other car rental agency. I am not someone who ever writes reviews but my experience with this rental and that lady forced me to write this. If you want to avoid any sort of inconvenience with your rental, spare yourself from going to this place.

Terrible website, Got a 1 day reservation, got charged for 2 days. Cancelled. WOuld not send a confirmation of cancellation. Hoping to get my money back in 7-10 days. Would not use them again for anything!

Waited an eternity for someone just to answer the phone... they need some new workers there most definitely
