The Rack Bar & Grill

Cool little bar and grill in downtown Rochelle! Visited on a Thursday night and there was a good crowd. Ordered drinks and food. The food was excellent! Had pizza and wings. The pizza was delicious and was as good as any of the other pizza places in town. The wings were delicious, as well! The bar was clean, the bartender was friendly and it was a great atmosphere overall. We will return and look forward to trying some of the other menu items! They also had some "tearable puns" in the men's restroom. A picture is below. I wonder what the others were.

Janet was our server. My husband and I travel quite a lot. We stopped at the Rack Bar and Grill in Rochelle Ill to have a bite. We were surprised to be served by a woman who was vibrant and had an understanding of costumer service tinged with humor.
This is truly a rarity in today's world. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Grill. The food was great and Janet made our experience doubly enjoyable. When we travel this way again we hope she will still be there.

Very good Italian beef sandwich. Bartender/ waitress Shawna was friendly and suggested a good beer and the sandwich. We will go back again when we visit. Very clean including bathrooms. Seemed family friendly during the dinner hour.

Went here with my husband for lunch. One word. AMAZING!! The service was quick, it is super clean, and the food was incredible! I got the Reuben sandwich which came with crispy, well seasoned fries. The Reuben was cut fresh in house and it came on thick marble rye and fresh sauerkraut. We also got the loaded tator kegs. Very crispy on the outside but soft and savory on the inside! My husband got the italian beef which he said was very good. Definitely making this our favorite place to eat in Rochelle!

GREAT FOOD, and family friendly. Some days I wake up and wonder "what are they serving at The Rack today". Every thing I have had here has been delicious. The staff is friendly, the beer is cold and the prices are fair.

Stopped in on our way thru. Bar was empty, but we we're there at odd time. So glad we stayed!! The Italian sausage sandwich was really tasty!! Service was good, beer was cold. Would stop in again, no question.

Great little bar. The staff was wonderful, even the cooks came out and said hi! Great guys. You HAVE to go on sunday and get the Rack Attack bloody mary! It's a huge drink with an entire appetizer sampler on top of it! So cool to see, so good to eat, and I'll be darned if it wasnt one of the best bloodies I've ever had. Next time I pass through I'm going back here for sure. Meatball sliders?! Whaaaaaat?! Yes please.

Oh my gosh.

I just finished eating here, and I literally told my waitress "it's like the gods graced my mouth with some of the best food I have ever eaten!"

I got the nachos and a bacon cheeseburger, the nachos were amazing, the bacon was THE BEST bacon I have ever had from a restaurant, and the pretzel bun was SUPER soft.

I will DEFINITELY be retuening, as well as recommending this place to EVERYONE!

Where do I start. Got are food quick and service was great. I had the beef and sausage sandwich which was a half of a 🐄. Wife had a bacon cheeseburger which was half of a 🐖 and the other half of my 🐄. Plan on going back soon​ as I'm hungry again. Which will be probably two to three weeks.

The Italian beef is amazing! Also, had the smoked hickory salmon on a Friday fish night, Jeff does a great job cooking at a few different places in town- so it's no surprise.

This is the best bar you will find in Rochelle, great food, great drink selection and atmosphere and the owner always comes around and makes sure you are having a good time. Highly recommend. Also a wonderful female bartender working there, she always gets you your drinks quickly and gets them right the first time everytime.

First time here. Loved the place. Got service immediately. Drink was great. Will definitely be back. I love small town bars

My favorite bar in Rochelle, IL. The people here are great. Sydney is cool & Janet J. is awesome. Sabrina is the Sweetest. Spend your money here.

BEST BAR IN ROCHELLE!! The atmosphere was clean and all the bartenders were amazingly nice! The food was amazing and easy and place to stop and eat! Will definitely be back!

Stopped in for lunch. Meatball sliders were huge, each size of a baseball and you get 3, tasted great. Italian beef was seasoned well with a tasty au jus. The fries were crisp and delicious.

I think it was a couple years ago that I came here. Just had a few beers and watched a football game. Just winding down and all that. Had a great time. The service was great and the beer was cold. Doesn't get better than that lol

Friendly staff one of the best hamburgers I have ever eaten excellent flavor. Will definitely stop back by next time I pass thru town

What sets this place appart is the staff.
They are friendly, and has a sincerity about them which is rare.
Haven't even got my food yet, and I already love the place.
