I was welcomed nicely by the staff lady. She helped my decide on the drink. She recommended me to try Pumpkin spice milk tea. I had no second thoughts. It’s the Pumpkin 🎃 time of the year and seriously why not? She also suggested me to try the chewy lychee as an add on. OMG the drink was phenomenal. I would love to come back for that. The lady was very friendly and shared her new ventures the lake county area. Highly recommend this place for ambiance, drinks and snacks.

Bubble Tea Lab is our favorite treat! We love all the combos we can create. The staff is friendly and patient with our young customers. Every time we drop into here it’s a good time. We highly recommend a visit!

I’ve been going here for boba for over 2 years. I live in Wisconsin but it’s worth the drive! They have lots of flavor options, the employees are always so kind, and the atmosphere is fantastic! I always get the milk tea but they have smoothies, teas, yogurts, and more. Highly recommend this place!

Very cute shop! They offer a variety of drinks , ice cream, and plushies! The shop itself has so many cute decor, like the hanging umbrellas or whiteboards to write one. They have a self order option, near the door. You order your drink there and customize it as well. It sends you a receipt and sends your order to the kitchen. You can view your order on the TV display.

The vibe here is charming and inviting, with a clean and well-maintained interior that's perfect for sipping on your drink and enjoying some downtime.

Of course, the real star of the show here is the tea itself. And let me tell you, it does not disappoint! Every sip is bursting with flavor, with just the right balance of sweetness and creaminess. The bubbles are chewy and satisfying, adding an extra dimension of texture to an already delightful beverage.
All in all, I can't recommend this bubble tea shop enough.

I've been going to Bubble Tea Lab for around three years. It's a cozy spot in Libertyville, IL, and I've had the pleasure to see this small, family-run business evolve throughout the years. I've enjoyed bubble tea for close to a decade. Bubble Tea Lab does this specialty drink justice!

In the heart of the Midwest, it's incredibly hard to find the variety of flavors that Bubble Tea Lab carries! My favorites are Blueberry, Chocolate, Matcha, Banana, Taro, and Mango! There are also rare/obscure flavors like Papaya. One can order no boba at all or jellies, popping boba, and tapioca in many popular flavors (I enjoy lychee jelly and mango popping boba). Most importantly, for me personally, they offer about 4 dairy-free alternatives. Those being coconut, almond, soy, and oat milk. As someone who suffers from lactose intolerance, I deeply appreciate a restaurant's understanding of and actions to accommodate people's food allergies/dietary concerns. I've been to other bubble tea spots where I ask about dairy alternatives and the staff looks at me like I'm from a different planet. Bubble Tea Lab is not like this; they are willing and able to accommodate.

The staff are all wonderful. I couldn't even imagine anyone having a negative experience in terms of customer service, and staff friendliness is a huge part of why I keep coming back. Also, the atmosphere is so cute. They sell collectable K-pop merchandise, Kawaii culture keychains, Anime/Anime-inspired goods, Mongolian cultural souvenirs, and cute bubble tea plushies of all different colors and sizes. There is always something new in terms of merch, every time I visit. I even tried Chinese Pineapple Cakes for the first time there. Think of a very miniature Chinatown!

I recommend Bubble Tea Lab to both bubble tea novices and aficionados; especially to those whom enjoy East Asian culture! If you or a family member/friend have lactose intolerance, yet still want to enjoy bubble tea, look no further! My favorites/recommendations are: Blueberry Milk Tea with mango popping boba and Soy milk, and Chocolate milk tea with almond milk and tapioca.

Charming family owned bubble tea shop in Libertyville. The place is located more on the north side of Libertyville, away from the busy shopping areas, but nevertheless its worth a visit. My family and I often stop by here after our walk in Independence Grove or Adler Park. The drinks are refreshing and delicious, service is always friendly and efficient. The interior is super cute, with fun music, plushies, manga, and photo cards to look through as well. Always a nice stop :)

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE) Pumpkin spice is back and it's my favorite everrr. The lady that is here majority of the time is such a sweet person, super friendly and kind. Highly recommend it here!

i never go more than a week without coming here!! my brother and i found this place months ago and i’ve been coming back ever since. i usually stop and get a brown sugar milk tea + espresso + tapioca on my way to work every weekend. (but strawberry milk tea is my favorite! 🍓). the owner is an amazing person and i highly recommend this place!

We had another great experience at Bubble Tea Lab. They now offer poke bowls instead of sushi burritos. We decided to place an order using the kiosk. We ordered two salmon bowls. They were topped with fresh salmon, bean sprouts, omelet, crab stick, boba, octopus, corn and other ingredients. The meal was filling. I went with the red bean boba tea and forgot to order the boba. My 12 year old entered her order correctly and order a lemonade with boba.

We liked the changes to accommodate more people to come in out of the weather.

There's no dining in option.

One more thing I'd like to mention - yes, the price is higher then the burrito; however, the poke bowl is huge. It was filled with fresh quality ingredients. Most restaurants raised their cost with no increase in quality, quantity or renovations.
Bubble Tea Lab did all three.

Give it a try. Do ask about the other ingredients if you don't want it in your bowl - skip the kiosk.

I love that you are able to order on your own screen. The boba was good, I got the passionfruit green tea with mango popping pearls. The inside is small, but convenient and cute!

My kids and I just love this place! The woman is always so helpful, we need to learn her name. She always gives us great service with a smile and explains everything kindly. The menu is growing and we love it! The dragon fruit acai bowl is fantastic she makes it superb!

I'm from Texas and first time here in Chicago for my brother's graduation ceremony. We love milk tea and this is the only Boba store we can find. The lady is nice and welcoming. I love the way she recommended things. The milk tea is not bad. We have classic milk tea, strawberry milk tea and coffee milk tea. This is a place you should try.

This is an amazing place to get delicious milk tea!! They have a variety of flavors to choose from and the price is great for the size they serve. I’ve gone multiple times and each time I try a different flavor and so far I’ve enjoyed them all. The owner is so sweet and welcoming that me and my son love to talk to her whenever we stop by. If you’re not sure what flavor you want, she’s helpful with suggestions. The place is fast at getting orders together and you can place an order at the register or on devices located inside the store. If your a fan of milk tea or trying it for the first time, this is the place you want to go to, you’ll be happy you went!

I usually stop by here on my way to work.I ended up getting a matcha boba milk tea and it was perfect. Not too sweet and the flavor was delicious. ❌The customer service could definitely be IMPROVE but doesn’t bother me if they are moody❌

Very friendly and helpful service. I was recommended to try the brown sugar milk tea with shot of espresso it was FANTASTIC! The kitchen chicken bowl was spectacular. First time trying everything there. Thank you° looking forward to visiting again.

The best boba I’ve ever had!!! My boyfriend and I went and as we were waiting for our drinks to be made, we were talking about how good the smoothies looked. The lady working gave us a free sample of one of their smoothies and chatted with us!!! If I could rate this place infinite stars, I would!!! I’ll definitely be returning.
