Vitale's Restaurant & Pizzeria

We ordered a deep dish supreme pizza and it was the best!! The delivery driver was super nice! The man who took my order was very kind and patient with me. The pizza was out of this world!!!

Vitale's is a hometown favorite. The best place for authentic Italian food in Macomb. They have many delicious items on the menu. However, my favorite is their deep dish pizza. It has tons of cheese.. stuffed with your preferred favorite toppings and a delicious tomato sauce to top it off! It is one of the pricier items on the menu, but it is highly worth it. This restaurant is owned by a wonderful Macomb family. The atmosphere is a family-friendly place.

It’s stuffed crust pizza to die for. If it isn’t Piquad’s, it’s Vitale’s. The best pizza outside of Chicago hands down.

We stumbled upon this family restaurant by accident a year ago while traveling across the US. When we set out to travel this summer all three of our kids requested that we come back through Macomb and go to Vitale's again, so we did. It was absolutely amazing a year ago when we first went and I dare say it was even better than we remembered this year when we stopped in!! This is an absolute "must stop" for our annual Summer RV across the US Trip!!

We are a family of 5, everyone ordered their own meal, drinks, and ordered appetizers our bill was under $100!! We took 2 half pizzas and a large box of pasta as leftovers for another 4 meals along with full tummies upon leaving!!

Vitale's was some of the best Italian food I've had in a very long time. Portion sizes are substantial and the customer service was excellent. We had a question about a sauce and they not only answered our question but after we had ordered, the chef sent us put a sample of the sauce we were curious about. These people know their food! I'll be back!

If you are a Macomb local, you know how wonderful Vitale's is. If not, you are missing out on a local gem. If you are new to town, you need to go and experience their amazing food!

There were 4 in our group and all of us thought our food was excellent. We were there on Homecoming night and despite being short-staffed for that reason, our wait was reasonable and the service was excellent. The lasagna portion was a tad smaller than we would have liked, but the other pasta dishes were plentiful and delicious. Would definitely go back if I'm in the area again.

I ordered delivery last Friday, and was BLOWN AWAY by the awesome flavor and freshness of my meal and so, I ordered more today! I had Mostaccioli with Meat Balls, Broccoli and meat Sauce and it was delicious. the meat balls were LARGE and very tasty and the broccoli was crunchy yet juicy (super fresh) and the meal was a real joy to eat. Garlic bread was included, too.

their delivery was fast and the food arrived hot and on-time! (definitely better than when I had food Dashed to my Door!)

Food was FRESH and the portions were VERY generous!
(VERY satisfying!)

All this and it was still LESS-cost (by $10) than having, even, Micky-D's Dashed to my Door! (Great value!)

I plan to order from here once (or more) a week!

If you happen to be in the area I would strongly recommend stopping in and seeing these lovely people this establishment will not treat you as a customer you will be treated as a guest
The facility is extremely clean well-lit seeting is spacious
The portions given are very favorable prices are affordable
This is definitely an establishment not only will I visit again but I will take every chance to recommend

We have been coming here for years. The same and only family has ran this restaurant for 42 years. Mama Vitale still works everyday and makes the best meatballs. They are the best in town.

I've loved Vitale's for years! Consistently good food and the prices are reasonable. The stuffed pizza is the best and comparable to what you'd find in Chicago. Always a treat to go there as I now live out of town and have to make a special trip to Macomb for it.

Pizzas were delicious and staff very friendly.

Had a small family get together there Friday night before a funeral. Had 10 people and the did a great job. Food was awesome and the Friday night ribeye was huge. Everyone in our party loved the food and the waitress. First Tim going to Vitale's but we will definitely be back.

After looking for restaurant reviews trying to decide what to eat,, we landed on Vitale's. We stopped in on a random Wednesday evening and were greeted with a really pleasant smell walking to the door. Good sign right off the bat.

We ordered the bruschetta for an appetizer. Super pleasantly surprised, the olive oil was really flavorful, good sized chunks of tomato, and fantastic light bread to carry it through.

I had the canneloni, which were really good, but the star of the show was the spaghetti carbonara. I have never had it so light and flavorful. Lots of places, it's a thick sauce, almost like a mornay. This was just...clean and light and pleasant. We ate the entire meal, and I absolutely admit to sitting there tasting it over and over, trying to figure out HOW they made it. In the end, I've got no idea. This was creamy like the dish where they toss hot pasta in a wheel of Grana Padana (or whatever it is), and really just a treat.

Cannoli? Forgetaboutit. Also fantastic.

If we are ever back in town, I am certain we will stop again. Just a super treat of an Italian dinner in small-town Mid America. Hopefully the pizza we got to take home is as delicious as everything else was!

Always excellent food and service. Specials great. Could not ask for more. Best place to eat in Macomb and surrounding area. Casual atmosphere. Usually I order a special chicken spinach ravioli with mushrooms and butter sauce. So good and different. However this time ordered eggplant spinachi with no cheese please and it was great. They let you alter the menu choice also.

Have been going to Vitale's for over 25 years. I have never had better Italian food anywhere else in my life. This is a family owned restaurant and they are very careful to make certain that the food they serve is top quality. Service is great. Very friendly environment.

Service is amazing and super friendly. Food was delicious. I've never been somewhere so authentic with real food. Totally inexpensive even though their quality and quantity is worth way more. Atmosphere is great. I'm make this a monthly date spot. I loved it.
