RC Outfitters is a premier destination in Central Illinois. When you arrive, you are shocked by the wide array of products they have ranging from clothes to socks to rehab tools and even to the big shoe wall in the back with a variety of styles. RC Outfitters also never lacks on their customer service. Right when you walk in, you are greeted by one of the employees who is happy to help you find whatever it is you are searching for. Also, they have talented fit specialists who are more than willing to help you find the appropriate shoe. Highly recommend stopping in, as you never know what you may find!

I remember going to running central as a kid to buy my track shoes and spikes. It hasn’t been until the last couple years I have shopped here consistently for clothes and shoes because I didn’t realize everything they offered. Not only do they have the best shoes and quality clothes but their customer service is top notch. I have bought several pairs of shoes from them and as of today now I know why. They take care of their customers like large retailers won’t. They back their products and have the best service around. Will continue to give RC my business for a long time to come.

RC Outfitters is the premiere destination for anything running, outdoors, or even just casual wear. I’m always thrilled by the staff’s extensive knowledge over products, especially their shoes! As a runner, it’s nice to see that people go the extra mile (no pun intended) to learn more about these products for our own benefit! I walked out with a Brooks Ghost 15 and have been running happy since! Thank you RC Outfitters, I will be back again.

RC Outfitters is a welcoming environment with amazing customer service as employees are always very helpful and willing to assist you. They have a large array of products: running and exercise shoes, socks, inserts, lifestyle shoes, apparel, accessories, physical therapy tools, electronics, and more! The fit process is awesome because it really sets you up with a great pair of shoes for your own particular feet, and a pair of inserts could make a big difference!

I had a great experience purchasing new running shoes. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I tried several pairs in store to find just the right pair for me. They have lots of shoes and clothing options available. They can be a bit pricey but the service and quality are great and I don’t mind spending a little more to shop locally and be able to try things out. Highly recommend RC outfitters.

I have purchased several shoes from RC Outfitters in Peoria, Illinois over the past months. I was in recently and purchased 2 pair of Cloud running shoes for my sons who live out of town. I was told the day I purchased them that they would be delivered to them in 3-10 business days. I kept waiting for my email notification of shipment. Finally when it exceeded 13 business days, I called the store. I was handed off to 3 different store employees. I was told the shoes were not going to be delivered for another 4 weeks! Please be advised that there may be over 4-5 weeks before you get your order. If that’s the case, order direct from Cloud.I have 7 pair of Clouds . I bought 3 from RC. Looks like I’m ordering directly from Cloud.

I would like to take this time to change my mind. RC Outfitters made my order right. Seems there was some confusion with my order. A gentleman by the name of Austin called me and informed me that my order wasn’t going to take an additional 4 weeks. He told me my order would be delivered sometime next week. He apologized for the confusion and discounted my order as well. Thank you RC Outfitters for going the extra mile. I’m excited about the effort and I will continue to shop at RC Outfitters!!!

RC Outfitters is an amazing store. When I went in I was amazed by the hospitality and care that their employees showed me. A place that I would recommend for both runners and non runners alike due to their wide variety of clothing and shoes that are both stylish and durable.

This is the most customer friendly shoe store I've been to. The employee that helped me was very knowledgeable about the products they sold and how they would fit my foot. I went in looking for OC shoes and ended up with a wide toe box Altra (which I had not heard of before). These are by far the most comfortable shoes I've owned.

I recently purchased a Garmin for my husband. I knew very little about the product. The young lady that helped me was amazing!! Annabelle shopped with me, educated me, and printed information and instructions on how to use the Garmin!

I'm loving these shoes (Asics Superblast) - took them out for 11 miles Sunday morning and they felt great the whole way. Perfect blend of cushioning and response, totally disappeared on feet.

RC Outfitters is by far the best store in town. There isn’t anything that compares to the service, products and special events. The team members are so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Customer service is always a priority by far. Once you go through the fit process for new shoes you will be confident that they will find the best solution for your needs. I only wish I would have started shopping there sooner but now will not go anywhere else.
Then to top it off you can find amazing name brands from LuLuLemon, Vuori, Dylan, Spanx to name a few. It’s such a great place to shop ! Love it 😍

The staff here are beyond qualified and experts at what they do. It was my 1st time in the store as I am normally an internet shopper. But I sure am glad I came in looking for shoes to wear all day working long hours in healthcare. I didn't know they had such personalized fitting service & aetrex fitting for inserts - all of which I really needed. There wasn't a pushy salesperson but someone there to just provide the assessments and service. I went in with an idea of the brand I wanted based on research but based on my time trying things on and the professional's suggestions based upon my work needs, I came away with something so much better. I am so glad that there are still stores like this around who value this level of service. I am a customer for life.

Every time I'm in RC Outfitters I have a great experience with the knowledgeable employees. They have everything you can need in a shoe but can also provide amazing apparel options for everyone! Name Brands consisting of Vuori, Lululemon, Free People, Prana, Spanx, New Balance, Puma, Diadora, CRAFT, and SO much more!

Our experience was wonderful with Kimberly! She took her time with us, showing usmany shoes we didn't even know existed. She was very professional and kind. She put me in a pair of brooks ghost max, and Scott in a pair of new balance 1080's which was a good fit for both of us! Kimberly made us feel very comfortable in our fitting experience at RCO! The owner of the store recommended to me a pair of Craft cold weather running shorts. I wore them today for the first time for a 5am run in 29 Degree weather. He was not wrong when he said every runner in the Midwest needs a pair of these.

Stopped by RC to check and see if they had any viable options for winter boots, with the intense cold and snow we just had around the area a little over two weeks ago, and I was blown away by their options -- both in terms of footwear and other winter apparel items. Ended up leaving with more than I intended on coming in for! Not only did I get an awesome pair of winter boots in the Oboz Bangtail Mid Insulated Waterproof boots; but, I grabbed a pair of warm winter Smartwool Socks and a Fjallraven shell to wear atop my winter coat, too! Thank you to all of the welcoming and knowledgeable staff who helped me find what I needed to get through those weary winter days safe and warm!!

I’ve been going getting my shoes at running central since I can remember, I always feel as though I’m getting the best shoe that I can for my feet! Wouldn’t buy running/ walking shoes anywhere else!

The best place to buy shoes. Employees truly care about providing the correct shoes for the customers. They listen to the customers and want to help. Finally have shoes that do not hurt my feet.
