Jeff and Wendy were wonderful. My partner and me were driving from Council Bluffs to Chicago on Christmas when our windshield wipers stopped working. Rochelle was the closest town. We stayed the night and took the car into Cappels immediately on Tuesday morning. They were able to diagnose the issue and also find out that there was a recall. They called the dealership on our behalf and scheduled an appointment. They were the sweetest people. And we’re thankful for their help.

We had a flat tire on the interstate traveling to Chicago. Once I got the spare on I took the damaged tire to Cappel's to see if they could repair it. They were busy but they got us in right away and back on the road. Super nice people too. Highly recommended!!

Oh, no! My tire light came on and I still had hundreds of miles to drive. This could have been a hard way to spend an afternoon - but I found Cappel's Complete Car Care just up the highway. I popped in on a Friday afternoon and they quickly assessed my needs (a small screw in the tire), patched me up, and sent me on my way in less than 30 minutes. The Cappel's team was kind and hardworking! I am grateful that they could help me out! And - it was a great deal! Thanks, everyone!

Great service, free shuttle, cost came in under my estimate. I feel like they deal honestly with customers and I appreciate how they inform you if repairs are critical or not so you can decide what requires attention. All very friendly.

My daughters car broke down on her way to a wedding in Nebraska. We had to coordinate everything over the phone while trying to get her going. Mike and Wendy could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Daughter made the wedding and our whole family appreciates Cappel Car Care and are thankful they were there. Thank you very much!

Six Stars! On our way to Oakbrook IL from Iowa we hit something on interstate 88 and damaged our tire. Luckily, we were close to the Rochelle Illinois exit and pulled into Cappel’s for what we thought was a tire plug. The tire was not repairable. Jim and Mike jumped into action as they are natural born “problem solvers” and made numerous calls to locate a hard to find low profile replacement tire. Within about 15 minutes they had located a perfect replacement in Rockford IL and next thing we know we were back on the road toward our destination. They went above and beyond to solve our problem. They didn’t even charge for the “consultation” Jim gave us on problem solving. I hope our next flat tire is somewhere within a 5 mile radius of Cappel’s!

They were incredibly transparent and communicated incredibly well with me. The refused low quality products and always asked my permission for proceeding. I highly recommend Cappel's to anyone.

My husband and I had a blow out on 88 and 97A. We tried to change the tire on our truck but we didn't have the right tools. We got on our phones and made our way over to a tire place originally but we spotted Cappel's on the way to the tire shop. We turned around and stopped in to ask for help. They were able to help us even though we showed up about an hour before be closing. We are super grateful for the help and will be able to make it to where we need to go. We appreciate them so much!!

P.s. we are not from the area either, so we are super grateful for the hospitality and kindness as well!

By far the friendliest and quickest car shop I’ve been to. I got my left blinker changed in under 20 mins. I was on a road trip, so unfortunately I won’t be coming back here again. Unless I go back to Illinois and my car has issues around this area. I guess I could also drive from California to Illinois the next time my blinker goes out, but that’d be risky. I’d really need to consider the risk/reward for that trek. If I ever move to Chicago, I’d like to think that this place played a role in that decision. Thank you!

Cappel’s has always been courteous, kind and quick with quotes and repairs. They may recommend other items based on wear & tear, and safely. However, they only do the needed work and the work you approve.

Have been taking my car to Cappel’s when it needs work. I have always been happy with the work. Also like that they tell you about other issues’s to let you that other things need to be addressed.

My car broke down in Rochelle, IL and I left it over overnight at Cappel's Complete Car Care. They were able to address my car the next morning. Al was excellent at communicating with me as the repairs were being done. The price was reasonable and the work was exceptional. Jim, the owner was also great to talk to and really stands behind his business moto "count on us for fair, friendly Service." Would recommend for anyone living local or happened to have a tire pop out of it's socket, like mine did going down the road - See pictures for details.

Incredible service!! Jim and the crew fixed us up so quickly. We are so grateful. If you need anything from an oil change to a set of tires, Jim and his crew will make sure you have the best. I highly recommend stopping in.

I want to share an important service that Cappel's helped me with a while back. We were driving an old '86 Ford Motorhome across country and she gave out on the side of the highway near Rochelle. AAA gets us a tow truck, and I start calling shops in the area to take a look at 'Ole Rosie. Most shops closed up early for the weekend, but Cappel's takes us in and we couldn't have had a better experience! Even though it's late on a Saturday, as soon as we arrived they hoisted us up and got to it. With an expert eye that can only be mastered with years of experience, they found out our issue and had us back on the road. They were FRIENDLY and easy to talk to. EXCELLENT at explaining exactly what was going on and what they can do for us. They were HONEST and didn't try to upsell us anything we didn't need. This is a small business that is TRULY looking out for their customers. At one point they offered us one of their own cars for the weekend if they weren't able to get ours ready in time, but these pros absolutely mastered it. If I lived anywhere near here these guys would be my GO-TO for everything I needed. If you're ever in town, just swing by and say hello. You'll be glad you did. :-)
