I’ve been a customer of Top Notch for about two years now and the service is exceptional. Whether it is Chuck, Tommy or Pedro, you know you are being taken care of and welcomed right when you walk in the door.

In those two years, I’ve gotten cut up by all three and been nothing but satisfied with the outcome.
Pedro has been my guy for a year now and has been consistent as can be.

Once every 3 months or so I get the “Top Notch” package to treat myself. Pedro’s gentleness and attention to detail makes it a meditative experience personally.

If you are looking for someplace new with experienced barbers, this is the place.

Chuck and Tommy are the best. Great haircuts, always clean cut. First place I've gone to that I have gotten compliments on my fresh haircut. Would recommend to my grandma.

I moved to Chicago 3 years ago and Barber Pedro gave me the best haircut today. Why? Because I have Asian hair that stands every which way..especially when you cut it short like I like it. Not only that but he cut my eye brows and shaved them to clean them up. Shaved the edges of my head also to clean them up. I hope he'll have time for me in the future!
Btw...the 2nd best haircut I got was from him also!

Top Notch is the best all around barber shop in the Chicagoland area. I've been going here for 3 years and they are consistently professional and give the best cuts I've ever had. Their attention to detail is elite and it's obvious they work hard to make everyone feel welcomed. I also love that I can set my appointments with them on Booksey; so easy. Went in without an appointment today and the joint was packed. They were also booked up. I thanked them but told them I was unable to wait. Instead of parting ways, the staff there shifted gears and figured out how to accommodate my son and me. I had my hair cut by Tom and my son, who has autism and isn’t particularly patient during haircuts, had his hair cut by Tara. It was a wondeful experience. Both professionals were engaging and thorough and I was very pleased with the results. I am not usually particular, I go to chain shops or have my wife cut my hair, but now I’ll be a loyal customer to this shop!

I have been to many barber shops but none can match Top Notch Barber and Shave Shop. I have gotten my hair cut from the owner (Chuck) he does excellent work and also Tommy he also does magnificent work, but more recently I have been sticking to Pedro and by far he does phenomenal work. Pedro does care about his profession, he goes the extra mile to make sure his clients are satisfied. I have showed him pictures of hair styles I like, as well as beard ideas and he will go over them with me to make sure it’s how I want it. Pedro does great with my wiggly two year old too. I have done the Top Notch Package and I can say it’s worth every dollar, the facial is remarkable. I will continue to go back, thank you Top Notch staff.

Chuck’s great! He cuts my hair damn near perfect every time. Even though the last cut I had was by Tommy, it was still on the money. Tommy did a great job as well. The guys are super friendly and the conversation while in the chair is all good. I would highly recommend this shop. Clean, neat and courteous.

This place is great. I’ve been here frequently enough where some of the employees know me by name. This place is not only a great barber shop, but more of the experience. It’s a man cave area and the employees do exactly as you ask. Service: 10/10 Cut: 10/10 (Tommy gives me the best haircuts)

I’ve been seeing Chuck from the beginning and have never been disappointed by his timelines, shop cleanliness, and/or attention to detail. Chuck and his staff are always friendly and attentive. Chuck is my guy, but I have used the other guys a few times and always have been happy with their services. Top Notch is highly recommended. You’ll be happy you went.

I always make my appointment a week in advance as they are very busy and rightly so! They offer straight Razor shaves with hot & cool towels which feels amazing! Self care as they say lol. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for an amazing Hair cut or shave to get here asap! I’m 51 & I have hair growing in places no one wants to see lol they take care of that as well! I have been going to Chuck for about 8 months now. Every single time he does amazing work. He is later focused throughout the whole cut and devotes your time to YOU! Which is rare nowadays with these volume barber shops.

This is an art & he does it like an artist. Some other shops in the area need to take notes. It’s not about the quantity. It’s all about the quality. & the quality is TOP NOTCH!

Chuck and and his crew do a amazing job at what they do!! They always seem to find a appointment that works with my schedule. My son and I both go to Top Notch and never leave disappointed. I definitely recommend everyone there for either a haircut or shave.

Master barbering at it's best! Chuck is one of the most patient barbers I have ever taken my son to. Clean work, takes his time, and just an incredible personality. The shop is definitely TOP NOTCH , not like some of the other ones in the area we have come across. He is great with children, the environment isn't threatening, and everyone is happy and joking ! Chuck is a true master of his craft. Best fade around guaranteed! I never leave disappointed. I always get compliments on my hair ever since I met Chuck. Top Knotch is a very well kept barber shop with a big comfortable waiting area. Hands down one of the freshest barber shops in the burbs.
