The playground is honestly really nice. I definitely feel that it is a little bit more geared towards 5+ years old, but there's enough stuff that a smaller kid can do too.

I hope they put some more shade over the benches. They have one that has an overhang, but it doesn't go out very far in front, so the sun still beats down on you.

The kids are happy to play there and that's really what's important.

We made it a little past the bridge. Saw a few Forts. We went after it rained. A little muddy but not bad. Definitely will be back and we saw a deer.

Great trail. It is a little adventure. The new playground is very nice. My 8 yr old son could play there forever. There are forts throughout the woods. Very fun.

I love walking thru the preserve and seeing nature at its finest with deer and rabbits and chipmunks, and all the other animals. Plus seeing the little stream that flows thru it and the bridge.

It's beautiful. But thought there would be more hiking trails. And the directions took us to a sign, but no real entrance or parking.

City in Wisconsin

Menasha is a city in Calumet and Winnebago counties in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 18,268 at the 2020 census. Of this, 15,144 were in Winnebago County, and 2,209 were in Calumet County. The city is located mostly in Winnebago County; only a small portion is in the Town of Harrison in Calumet County. Doty Island is located partially in Menasha. The city's name comes from the Winnebago word meaning "thorn" or "island". In the Menominee language, it is known as Menāēhsaeh, meaning "little island". source
