McClone

While looking for new insurance, I was referred to McClone. The staff here was very attentive and caring. They helped make the transition from my prior agency flawless and easy. I have 2 boats, 2 snowmobiles, an atv, 2 cars, a house, and various other valuable items I needed coverage for. They were able to recommend the coverages I need and some I didn't need. I appreciate the time they spent helping get it right, so I have the peace of mind that all of my insurance needs have been met.

I followed my agent of 10 years to the McClone Agency. Six months later my agent quit. McClone assured me I would receive the same service that I was accustomed to. That was not the case. Their agents would provide me with quotes that were so out of wack that I would end up finding my own policy with the same provider for a fraction of the cost. I emailed my personal line agent to get a quote for a new home and never received a response. When I called to cancel my policy I was informed that they had moved my account to the provider's online portal, and I had to contact them to cancel.
I would not recommend anybody to use McClone for their insurance needs.

I had an ACH payment that didn't go through in June of 2022 which caused my policy through Secura to lapse. Since I bundled home and auto they both got cancelled. Secura does say they mailed me documentation, which I believe, but I would expect my agency to make some type of non-mailed contact attempt to let me know. I'm now going to have to pay 3X as much for auto for the next six months due to the lapse. Neckerman never reached out to me, they make their money on the premium, they have an interest in letting me know, but didn't do anything and left me extremely vulnerable. I'm not sure when they switched to McClone, or if that had anything to do with it.
