I've had lower back pain since 1990. I had surgery in 1994 and this last year it got so painful that I couldn't live with it anymore. Dr. B is a highly skilled surgeon. He is not there to make you like him, he's there to fix your medical problem. If you want fluff, go see someone else. This guy told me exactly what he was going to do and then did it successfully. He opened me up both front and back and installed a cage around my spine. 8 months later I am pain free. Slight stiffness. I could not be more happy. His assistants Mickey and Tanya are also very skilled and bring a great bed side manner. They both continued to work with me to mitigate the surgery pain and I owe them each a big hug. Thank you Dr. B, Mickey, Tanya, and SSM/Agnesian medical staff. You have changed my life!!!!!! 😊👌

He was quick and explained what was possibly wrong and helped recommend to me others who might help figure out what's wrong and work with him. He explained things pretty clearly and didn't give me a run around which was also nice, I'm not as nervous for when I have to go back in a few months thanks to having my condition explained and being told it's not to serious.

Dr. B and his team at Agnesian changed my life for the better! I had grade 4 spondylolisthesis for 20 plus years and many surgeons sent me away bc it was too dangerous to touch. Dr. B was able to stabilize my spine and stop the progression. He also decompressed the nerves being pinched all down my legs and i immediately felt relief upon waking after surgery! I am now recovered and can physically do things I could not do for 20 years! I am so grateful and thankful to everyone involved for making my life better!! I can now play with my 3 year old and I can work without limits. I have seen others comment about his bedside manner but all I can say about that is he is extremely knowledgeable and gives you the facts, whether you like what he's saying or not, he is an educated professional who is doing his job to make you better.
