The transaction hasn't gone as smoothly as I would have liked, but all things considered I'm happy. It took a little longer to get my safe delivered and I'm still waiting on my light kit and dehumidifier. But Nick has been responsive when contacted. Craig was fantastic both as a sales person and during delivery. Nick, you are lucky to have him back! I have no reservations recommending this business.

Nick has been great to work with throughout the whole process of buying a safe. He came back with the best prices ive seen on the safe and delivery included. Even went as far as to put a combination lock on my safe instead of a electric lock. Overall great customer service and will be refuring them to friends in the future.

So fox valley safe gets 5 stars I ordered a liberty safe....they gave me an expectation of. 8 weeks .... when the 8 weeks came the owner told me liberty didn’t have a truck coming till mid August I got pretty upset ..... he said he would have it come special order for me .... so over the next 2 weeks her kept in pretty good touch .... some would say I was bugging him constantly.......he took it with stride and I got my safe in as soon as it was delivered to there warehouse

Purchased a beautiful brand new safe from them last night. The store is clean and bright with a great selection of safes. The staff is remarkably knowledgeable in their products and helped me find something that was a great fit for my specific needs and budget. Thanks again FVSC!

Really nice selection of safes, and a good stock for being a new store. The sales folks were super knowledgeable and helpful. I had researched safes a couple other places but these guys just seemed like good people. They earned my business and will continue to do so.

There is no better company to use for buying, and delivery of your safe. Very easy to work with and awesome prices!

Let me start out by saying that the people were nice enough to deal with, and I would recommend going here to look at safes. However, I would NOT buy a safe from this company. We purchased a Liberty safe in June. What was supposed to be a 6-8 weeks after purchase for us to receive the safe turned into four months. It was the same excuse each time we called to follow up on when we could expect to receive the safe. It wasn't until we threatened to cancel the order that the safe was finally on it's way to the store. We also purchased lights and a dehumidfier for the safe. Fox Valley Safe company uses In the Nick of Time moving for their safe deliveries. We paid for delivery when we paid for the safe. However, three days before the delivery date, we were informed that we needed to pay an additional $100 or the safe would not be delivered. Needlesstosay, we paid the $100 because it had now been a four month wait and we wanted the safe. The safe was delivered without the dehumidifier and the lights poorly installed. (Side note, the delivery guys were great). It took another two telephone calls and another week to get the dehumidifer mailed to us. After delivery, I did a little research and according to The Department of Financial Institutions website, Fox Valley Safe Company and In the Nick of Time moving have the same principal office location address, which leads me to believe that the two companies are connected in some way. Knowing that, I feel like we were strongarmed into paying the extra $100 for the safe delivery. All in all, not a good expierence with this company.

For starters, I have never posted a review for anything, however, I am so unhappy with this company that I want to warn others. I ordered a safe from this company back in November and was told it would be delivered in early February. February is almost over and the safe still hasn't been delivered. We called the company so they could look into our order and see when the estimated delivery date would be (thinking it would be in the next couple of days). At first, they couldn't even find our order, which made me nervous since we already paid for the safe! The employee said he would look into it further and give us a call right back. We received no call back. So we reached back out to them to figure out what exactly was going on. The employee then stated that even though we placed the order and paid for the safe in November, the company didn't actually process our order until mid-January. Once they place the order, it takes 8-10 weeks to be delivered. Therefore, we won't be receiving the safe until March/April. The salesman NEVER told us that our order would be on hold for 2 months! If I would have know that, we would have placed our order with another company right off the bat. All I can say is that this process has been very frustrating and I would never recommend this company to anyone!

Update for those of you who look at reviews: It has now been an additional 2 months and we still have not received the safe! Not only is it impossible to get a callback from someone, when we do actually get to talk to someone, they have no idea what's going on and they can't even give us an update. We were told the safe would be delivered the end of April, however, that never happened and they said it would be an additional 2 weeks. This is beyond the worst customer service I've ever encountered. At one point we actually called Browning directly just to get some answers. I honestly feel foolish for making a purchase from Fox Valley Safe Company and I feel like I've been taken advantage of. So disappointing.

***Update 12/15/2020 - I did receive the dehumidifier and safe manual from Fox Valley Safe. No response on texts again from Nick from the sub-contracted moving company. Pending callback from Fox Valley Safe about the stair repair as they are the company on the receipt for delivery. Adding pictures of damage from under the carpet.

11/14/2020 - Called Craig at Fox Valley he advised he will ship out the manual and dehumidifier and will call the moving company to get this resolved. Moved to 3 stars for now.

Nick sold me a safe, dehumidifier and delivery. He said his other company (moving company) would deliver the safe and everything else. The delivery went smooth except while delivering they “slipped” down 6-7 of my stairs due to a runner they used, breaking the boards. Nick said he would handle the repairs but has not contacted me regarding this after numerous texts and messages. The delivery people also did not provide documentation for the safe or the correct dehumidifier saying they would mail it to me. Which still has not happened.

I have photos of the damage and believe it is the companies responsibility to fix as they stated we are good up to 1000lbs on stairs.

Please stay away from this company as they don’t deliver on what they say.
