Wiederholt's Supper Club

Old fashioned family owned supper club with extraordinary service. The steaks are flavorful and prepared exactly as requested. Definitely a place you want to experience.

All the ladies working were super friendly and had great customer service. The food was good and came out in a reasonable amount of time. We went at 6 pm on a Wednesday, so it was pretty quiet and part of the dining area closed off. We always park in the back for ease to get into the restaurant.

We decided to try this "supper club" yesterday after our sons prom festivities and were glad we did. We had to wait for about 45 minutes to get seated as this place was packed, but it was well worth the wait.

I had tenderloin and lobster, and both were done perfectly. Tim had filet mignon with mushrooms, and he devoured that! Their special was prime rib, and when seeing it come out for others that ordered it, it seriously took up the whole dinner plate!

I heard they are also known for their cocktails, which everyone seemed to be drinking. The couple sitting waiting to be seated said they come every week and need to try the Brandy Manhattan. Did not disappoint.

Our waitress was so kind and knowledgeable. I asked her about a picture on the wall of a couple, and she said they were the original owners. The building used to be a gas station many years ago. The husband has since passed away, but she's in her 90's and usually comes on Saturdays.

Had a group of 21 put together to celebrate my parents’ September birthdays. Had to go with a late reservation because of their busy schedule, but all turned out great. They worked with us on paring down the menu ahead of time to make things better for their kitchen staff.

The whole experience was fantastic. The food was top-notch, the drinks were right-on and the service was fantastic. Thanks, Weiderholt’s!

Wonderful cocktails, food and atmosphere! If you are looking to enjoy a classic supper club experience that will provide you a feeling of the throw back time to a wonderfully ran supper club, terrific food and nostalgic supper club feeling with exceeding today’s dining standards , then look no further! Wiederholt’s Supper Club is an absolute gem to visit for any reason! Wiederholt’s Supper Club would be a terrific option for any night, but especially a date night, anniversaries, birthday’s or any special occasion you may have! Wonderful friendly staff, the food and portions are great! If you walk away hungry, it is your own fault! The history of the supper club is special in itself, but the fact that family still is involved and runs the business today is even better! I recommend a reservation, but there is plenty of parking and a great bar area to sit and enjoy a wonderful cocktail while you wait!

We had a wonderful meal tonight at Wiederholts. Upon seating, we were brought drinks right away as we waited for our guests. We enjoyed the prime rib dinner. Our steaks were cooked to order, and they were pretty good. I like a little more seasoning on the edges. I will definitely be back. This place is a classic super club experience. Our server was a pro. She did a fabulous job taking care of my family.

We had a large group of 10 for a birthday and were able to make reservations the day before for Saturday night! Our waitress was exceptional getting our orders correct even with multiple families paying separately. Most of us ordered the prime rib special which was fantastic! Some may consider the price expensive but for the amount you get it seems like a steal to me! My husband and I were able to split the meal and just add an additional sweet potatoe (which was baked perfectly and served with butter and soft brown sugar!) And we still went home with leftovers! We also had the onion rings as an appetizer for our group which were a generous portion and thick and delicious as were the walleye fingers. A few of us tried alcoholic beverages (Colorado Bulldog and Bourbon Old Fashioned) which were also very tasty and didn't skimp on the good stuff!
Overall very pleased and excited to come back in the future!

We celebrated a birthday at the supper club. The group had many food choices. Everyone agreed that their choice was good. The staff was extremely helpful and right there when needed. All in all, it was a good time.

We stop here whenever in the area; this is a family owned legendary “Old School “ style Supper Club. The food is great, the staff is genuinely friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. We tried the Valentine’s Day dinner special a couple of years ago; it made for a nice evening out.

Celebration of wedding and service was spot on food arrived uniformly HOT and steady attention throughout meal even though the house was full ....meals were Excellent and tradional supper club atmosphere was fun

This was my first time here to celebrate my dad's heavenly birthday because he loved the classic Wisconsin supper clubs with relish trays and breadsticks. This is the closest to Wisconsin I could get. The food and service was spectacular. Mary was a wonderful waitress. We ordered the land & sea, and the walleye sandwich. No complaints whatsoever.

This place is so cool and it's old fashion. I've never had a steak melt in my mouth before, until now. It was so yummy and cooked the way I like it. The bake potato was perfect and the sourcream that came on the side tasted like sour cream and onion chips, which was amazing! The dinner salad was basic but still good and the French dressing tasted old fashion like it did when I was a kid.
The building is older but has a warm welcoming feeling. I love their chairs and how the servers bring your food.
Omg, the dessert drinks were to die for!! I had a grasshopper, which has always been my favorite drink, but now the pink squirrel is a close 2nd.
I highly recommend trying it out!!

Great traditional supper club experience! Halibut entree was the winner! Generous portions. Warm service. Strong pour on the drinks. Love the history and family feel of this classic restaurant.

Went here for the first time for my anniversary. We made reservations and my guess is it's better to do that then just show up. Wasn't to busy when we got there (530 pm) but was by the time we left.

I ordered the king cut prime rib and wife had the ribs and shrimp.

Food was delicious. Wife wished she would've gotten the full track of ribs after tasting them.

If you like an old style supper club then definitely check it out. Casual dress code.

One of the best meals I've had here in Minnesota. I was extremely impressed by this unassuming on the outside gem of a restaurant. The staff really have everything mastered. You literally can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The steak is the star of the show and highly recommended. A perfect spot for a special dinner and a unique yet traditional experience.

Oh Dear Lord! This was the best restaurant meal I have had in 3 solid years. Deep fried shrimp and tenderloin. Melt in your mouth. Warm and cozy and superb service. Seriously yummy Ole Fashion, to boot!!

Really great prime rib-melts in your mouth. I ordered the surf n turf lobster and steak and wasn’t disappointed. Service was quick and friendly. Fair and competitive pricing for the quality of food. We got there right when they opened, thank goodness! The tables filled up quick

My husband and I dined here on a Sunday evening, while the parking lot appeared to be pretty full, we were seated immediately. Sharon was our server and she was outstanding! Very friendly and helpful as this was our first visit. She made some recommendations and advised us all sauces, dressings, etc are made in house. I ordered the salmon and my husband had the Chicken Kiev, both were generous portions and very good. The homemade salad dressings and tartar sauce did not disappoint. Relish tray was crisp and bread and rolls were fresh and tasty. We love to visit the supper clubs in Wisconsin and Minnesota and Wiederholt’s is now added to our must return list. Highly recommend!

Party of 4 stopped here for dinner after a long road trip. The prime rib dinner was delicious, melt in your mouth, and the service was excellent. Will definitely be back.

We were a large group of almost 30. Somehow there was a scheduling mixup by our travel company. Our “small” party of close to 30 showed up without a reservation. The entire staff including the owner were terrific. The food was fantastic and the service incredible. Well done!
