Colvill Park

Beautiful and well-maintained city park with all the amenities one could want. Features include a water park, playground, garden, river walk, benches, picnic tables and shelters, grills, boat launch, marinas, and more.

In winter, Colvill Park is one of the best places to watch bald eagles on the Upper Mississippi River.

A very nice park for kids and adults a like. There are plenty of benches to watch the boats and a huge playground for kids. The area is very well maintained.

This state park covers many acres and offers so much for the family, nature enthusiasts and the average dog walker. From the Mississippi view, to the open grassy picnic, recreational areas, to the universal playground and discovery garden, to the over a mile paved wooded, walking trail. Boat launch, five picnic shelters, tennis court, basketball court, horse shoe pits, shuffle board, bean bag toss, volleyball court, benches and picnic tables, couple smaller playgrounds and a very large interactive play area are strategically placed throughout the park. The Discovery Garden is a beautifully maintained green thumb enthusiasts happy place with so many varieties of flowers and plants. Summer months one can also enjoy the water park and the Colville Concessions.

Great park, has a community pool, basketball courts, park for smaller children and bigger kiddos. Pet friendly. Indoor and outdoor Pavilions to use for gatherings, walking path by the river area. Very nice! Grills, lots of parking area. Restrooms, loading dock for fishermen. Alot of activities goes on in this park. Very big and nice park away from highway. Beautiful scenery!

What a great park, been coming here for years. Had my 2nd oldest graduation party there, we take the dogs out walking and of course the kids to the dog park.

THIS PARK IS AMAZING!! The playground is ginormous, and it's handicap accessible! There's ramps galore, lots of sensory toys, a couple harness swings, and a cute little garden with fun info for the kids. There's a water park here, too, but it's a bit chilly for that yet. And it's got a magnificent view of the river, with a lovely walking trail on the western side. I desperately wished I lived closer and could visit more often. 🥰 HIGHLY recommend you visit AT LEAST once. You'll fall in love with it, I promise.

Clean bathrooms and the kids had a blast on the variety of equipment. Nice little area with some art down by the river in Red Wing.

Did water aerobics at the swimming pool during the summer. It was so much fun. Pool is actually heated, which made our early morning workouts very comfortable. Also, my go-to place for walks on the senior walking path.

The kids love this playground! My 4 yr old loves getting to run around and the slides. My 2 yr old loves that he can walk around on the play equipment because of it being handicap accessible.

This portion of the park is geared to younger people and the huge playground is great for kids of all ages!

This is a wonderful place to take your kids for afternoon fun in the sun! It has plenty to do for all ages. Zero depth pool and diving board area plus two waterslides!! It also has a park for the younger kids to play in during the hourly safety check. As a bonus, the views of the river are beautiful!

This park is really nice park away from city crowd with lots of swings and slides for all ages of kids.

Whether you want to play with the kids, grill out, fish, or walk paved sidewalk paths thus is a great place for the entire family. You could also rent a Pavillion for graduations, work gatherings or family reunions. The swimming pool is also here so many choices on activities to do.

What a great park. Plenty of trails to walk, water park, marina with boat rentals(not same day). Playground for the kids, watching boats and tugs and barges. Awesome gardens. My mom had a great time playing too.

Beautiful park on the Mississippi with many options for activities and group events. Open water from nearby by power plant in the winter attracts many waterfall and eagles for viewing.

Colville Park is amazing. We always go there and spend the day with the kids and pack a lunch! Huge park, wheelchair accessible, swings, slides, climbing places for kids to run, play catch, do yoga, take a nap, whatever you want.

It's a good place for boats and play. Whichever you prefer or have. There are pathways and sitting spots as well as tables. It's good for everyone. I enjoy walking here when I'm in the area.
