Waupaca Woods Restaurant

We went on a Sunday morning at 9:30. We had a reservation due to the size of our party. We were seated immediately next to the fireplace, which was wonderful. The waitress was very friendly and prompt. The food came out quickly, and the portions are very generous while the prices are reasonable. The food was absolutely delicious! Our table was given 2 complimentary cinnamon rolls, which we would highly recommend as they are fresh and delicious! Everyone in our party was very happy and very full! We all went home with to go boxes. I also ordered the hot chocolate, which was gigantic and delicious! The whipped cream on top you could tell was homemade. We will be back! Highly recommend for a great breakfast and a wonderful place to go with family!

Had an appointment and stopped around lunch time. The atmosphere is a small town local flare. We came in through the doors by the main Parking lot. The signage when entering the building wasn’t very clear as to where the restaurant was. It’s at the very end of the mall area (not a far walk though).

It was about 12:30 and was steady but not super busy. It was “seat yourself” dining.

Extensive menu for breakfast and lunch. Lots of options. The order was a bit of a wait but not too bad. We both ordered breakfasts and they were huge! Definitely enough for a second meal. The hash browns were done perfectly and a large portions. The skillet I ordered had 4 eggs. I ordered them over easy and one yoke was was done hard so they must have thrown in another egg because of that. My husband ordered the hamburger steak. It was a good size, done to perfection and tasty.

If you’re hungry - you won’t leave that way! They had a good selection of pies but not any room to eat it there. We’d have to take with and were traveling so - next time!! Pies started at only $2.50 a piece!

Comfort food in a comfortable atmosphere. It kind of feels like you're having a Sunday dinner at Grandma's house! Restaurant is INSIDE the shopping mall, so it is a little hard to find if you don't know where you're going.

This is the best place in Waupaca. This was the first time I had the French toast. It was way too much food for me. I wish I had a bigger appetite. Everything is so much better and less expensive than restaurants in bigger cities.

Very “generous” portions, easy to split with someone and still be stuffed. We love brunch here after church, but have enjoyed some great lunches as well. Very friendly and accommodating service even with large families.

Everything was great. Pancakes, hash browns, bacon. Western Scrambler, Mexican Scrambler and a complimentary cinnamon roll “as a treat” from the kitchen. Kids loved it, we loved it. It was so good I didn’t get pictures until everything was half gone. Will 1000% be back anytime we are in the area.

Amazing hole in the wall restaurant. This was our first visit and we were extremely satisfied. Warning: portions are huge. You definitely get your money's worth. You can tell everything is made onsite.

Our friends invited us for breakfast & we were thrilled with the food. My omelet was one of the best I've ever eaten. My husbands pancakes were delicious & huge. We have told our friends & will be back!

Great service and amazingly good food! It has been a really long time since I have been able to eat here. It used to be the best. And it still is the best! Amazingly good food and great sized portions sure to fill up everybody. The broiled shrimp and haddock is the best you can find!

I love the Waupaca Woods! We’ve visited many many times over the years and they have the best pancakes and just generally delicious breakfast (they have lunch and dinner too, but we love breakfast). I love the French toast and delicious hash browns. Very delightful, friendly service as well.

The best mashed potatoes you can get. My favorite to get here is definitely the deep fried haddock, but this time around I got the broasted chicken.

By far the best family owned restaurant I know of.

Their pancakes were so delicious! ♥ They also had huge portions for the add-ons!

I go here often and have never once left unhappy, beautiful girls, amazing food and everyone is very respectful, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this restaurant! Check it out!

Incredibly tasty. Ordered the king rib eye (medium rare) and opted for the homemade clam chowder. Presentation and service was very good. In addition I ordered the corned beef and cabbage to go for dinner. Can't wait to dig into that later. Would definitely go back. 😊

Great experience. Not happy that the wait staff is not tipped unless we leave a cash tip. Learned that leaving a cc tip only goes to the kitchen staff. The wait staff was awesome. So busy with call in orders, and guests in the restaurant.

This restraunt was able to accommodate a large ground of 15 people with about 7 different checks!! Thank you so much! PS your cinnamon rolls are AMAZING!!

Very good baked lemon haddock, baked potato, fresh lettuce salad with homemade ranch dressing.

It always has such good food and the portions are so big I never finish it all! I've never been disappointed coming here!

Waupaca Woods restaurant is a rare gem. It’s a friendly family style restaurant with friendly staff, good service, great food and generous portions. We had both breakfast and dinner there. Breakfast was lovely. I had steak and eggs (which were perfect) and the rest of my party of 6 had plate-sized pancakes. Our waitress was EXCELLENT! we had the same Waitress for dinner (We actually got to see her young son -cutie, and Mom taking care of him. Honestly folks, if you’re within 20 miles of this place you have to try it. If you’re within 50 miles of it, try it and you’ll keep coming back. It’s busy, that’s how you know the food, service and hospitality are worth it.

This gem is deceiving in a mall but the food was amazing and the service excellent a must visit in Waupaca.
