Apple Tree Lane Bed and Breakfast

This bed and breakfast is wonderful! From the design style to their service, it truly was a fantastic experience. We already have told our family and friends about it and would recommend anyone and everyone to stay here. It was so comfortable and felt like home. We had everything we could ask for or need already there for us to enjoy. Absolutely no complaints!

Beautiful, comfortable, calming and just what we needed for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle. I especially enjoyed taking a bath in the claw foot tub in the master suite. And the walk down to the crystal river was lovely. Thankful to have found this gem. Thank you Allison for your hospitality and delicious breakfast!

A great place run by very nice people. Much better than staying at a hotel! Breakfast was fantastic! Will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful home with welcoming hosts. My husband and I were honored to be the first guests for the current hosts after they took ownership of the place. We were met at the door upon arriving and given a quick tour before we headed up to our room (the Crystal Cove suite). Everything was clean and had a nice cozy feel. Great first stop for our honeymoon. We were the only guests that night so the place was extra quiet and private (which we didn't mind) but it's a very spacious house even if that weren't the case. We were treated to fresh baked cookies left in the dining room that evening as well as a bottle of wine outside our door. Breakfast was delicious and set very prettily in one of the sitting rooms. There was a scenic area on the property along the river, though we did have to battle a large mosquito population to reach it, but the new owners are working to fix that for next year. Room had an attached bathroom with whirlpool tub, cable TV, couch, table, A/C, fireplace, and king size bed. Overall a great romantic getaway owned by a very friendly family. We would be happy to go back anytime.

Our stay was just what we needed! My wife planned a surprise getaway for the two of us, and the kindness and service was just as much of a wonderful surprise! Our room and the rest of the house was so clean and felt so cozy. It was great to walk outside on their beautiful property and walk through the woods at peak color change this year! You're really in for a treat staying here! There is a huge basket of games in the living area by the fireplace if you like games as much as we do!

Highly recommended! It's hard to find this nice of a place, with such kind ownership!

We had a wonderful time, the entire house was cozy and very clean. We stayed in the larger bedroom with the whirlpool tub. It was quiet and peaceful. We spent a little time out on the covered porch, and took a walk by the stream every morning. It was a great way to spend a couple of days. The breakfast was amazing and Kerri really took into consideration food allergies we have when making our breakfast.

Lovely and inviting B&B , both the house and the owners. The room was beautiful and so very cozy and the breakfast was delicious! The area is also fun to explore, with all the fabulous outdoor scenery and activities, especially all the lakes, in addition to the cute downtown area.

There was nothing better my girlfriend and I could’ve asked for in a romantic getaway. We were looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of Chicago. And this Bed and Breakfast offered everything! Delicious farm style breakfast every morning! Knowledgeable and courteous innkeeper! They built us a fire one night. Had kayaks available to rent. It was a perfect stay with all the farm style personality! We cannot wait to come back!

Best B&B experience we’ve ever had! The chef prepared exquisite, plentiful breakfasts! Spiced Pumpkin Apple Pecan Waffles with sides dishes on Saturday and Cheesy Spinach Bacon Quesadillas with side dishes on Sunday—BEST I’ve ever had! Super clean with tasteful Victorian interior design and very comfortable bed/accommodations! Nice grounds with large fire pit area, outdoor table and chairs and beautiful wooded path down to the Crystal River! With equally gracious hosts, Apple Tree Lane B&B is a genuine treasure for relaxing in comfortable luxury!

What a great overnight winter stay! My wife and I thoroughly enjoy our stay. The Riverland room was just big enough with a great view. Kerri is a great host with a treasure trove of ideas a suggestions based on your interests. Breakfast was fabulous and gathering rooms were also. If you want a classic B&B, this is it!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Apple Tree Lane B&B in the Crystal Cove Suite the weekend of Valentine’s Day and it was amazing. We were welcomed by Allison with a glass of wine and she made us feel right at home. Our room was awesome from the hot tub to the comfy robes!!! I surprised my boyfriend with a charcuterie board in our room upon arrival and it far exceeded my expectations !!! We enjoyed breakfast both mornings by the bay window and it was delicious. Allison shared the history of the house and also recommended places to visit while we were there. We love to explore Bed and Breakfasts and this is on the top of our list. Thanks Allison for the amazing weekend!!!

Flew in for a cousins wedding and took a chance on booking a bed and breakfast. I have always been hesitant to stay at one.. This was by far the most amazing experience and look forward to returning.

Check in: Was an absolute breeze. Our flight was delayed and were able to easily access the location through self check in.

Room: The room was immaculate. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Had all the necessary amenities. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable.

Owner: Was attentive and readily available to answers questions and fulfill all accommodations.

Area: Perfect location that is close to the town and convenient stores.

We will absolutely come back just to enjoy this spot again!

We are “frequent flyers” at Apple Tree Lane B & B, and no matter what season we come, the stay is always wonderful! Such a warm and inviting space, to get some deep rest and reconnect. The breakfasts are beautiful and delicious, always the freshest ingredients. And Kerri’s kind attention makes us feel so pampered! This place is a magnet for the nicest people, and we’ve enjoyed time with some great couples, We did some great winter hiking in some of the area parks. And yes, according to our guys, it didn’t hurt that Kerri was able to fill us in on all of the best micro-breweries in town! 😊 When life gets crazy, this is our favorite place to head! We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful stay for my birthday. Since we were staying during COVID restrictions, we were slightly hesitant, but they were very picky about the cleaning, and made us feel very comfortable. We took advantage and walked down by the water with a nice view, and relaxing walk around the property. Our room was very comfortable and the games helped to provide us with a fun evening. Kerri was extremely adaptable with our dietary needs/ restrictions, and breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend staying at Apple Tree Lane B&B!

My husband and I loved our stay here. We stayed in the Crystal Cove Suite in January and the fireplace in the room was awesome. Alison was really friendly and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was also delicious. Overall, we had a really good time.

We would like to say that our stay at the Apple Tree Lane Bed and Breakfast was delightful! This is not the first time we have come here and there is good reason for that – our host, Kerri and Mike, are so wonderful and are truly adorned with grace and hospitality as a tremendous gift from above. The home is beautiful, the property is stunning and the food is incredible! There are so many things to do locally, it will be the best stay of the year for you! I highly recommend this happy couple and their joyful home for a retreat you will not soon forget!

My partner and I had a lovely experience. Breakfast was super yummy and Kerri accommodated both of our (different) dietary restrictions. The house is old and charming. We stayed in the master suite, which has a private bathroom with a clawfoot tub/shower. It was warm when we were there, but when it gets cool it would be nice to use the fire place. Kerri was also super helpful when we asked for recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We ended up going downtown for a fall arts festival. I'd love to come back when we have a bit more time to spend there.

What a delightful stay I had here a few weeks ago! As a writer, I was looking for a quiet get-away where I could write distraction free for several days. This beautiful and well-maintained B & B was perfect. Several common areas were comfortable, inviting and accessible at any time, night or day. Sitting on the covered porch during an early fall shower, and a leisurely walk down to the river provided plenty of inspiration. Breakfasts were delicious and filling and Mike and Kerri are friendly and terrific hosts. I hope to return again soon!

Excellent bed & breakfast. Our room was so cozy, clean, and comfortable. The grounds of the Inn are beautiful. The weather wasn't great during our stay but we did get in at least one walk to the river. Kerri was an exceptional host who was able to answer all of our questions and give some excellent and honest recommendations on local restaurants. We would highly recommend Apple Tree Land B&B.
