Mat's Reel Repair

This shop is great if you ever need any parts for your older reels. They always have what I need and even ship out of state. I’m from New Jersey and for the price and ease of service even with shipping it’s more cost affordable then finding each part individually.

This place had a driveshaft that went obsolete a few years prior, I was very relieved. I talked to Alex, friendly and informative. If I ever have any other reel problems that are beyond my repair. I wouldn’t hesitate to redirect to these guys.

I took apart my own Stradic Ci4 and lost a piece as reassembling. Called the shop and they said to ship it in. Shipped it and within 2 weeks later had it back in better shape than I sent it. Paid easily through paypal. Will return if I ever mess up again.

I needed some hard to find parts for an early 2000's Stradic. I emailed Mat out of the blue and am sure glad I did. He not only had the parts I needed but was prompt in responding to my emails and shipped me the parts quickly. I'm definitely going to reach out to him in the future for all my reel repair needs.

I had been looking locally for two small parts for my Daiwa but because no one had them in stock and it wasn't worth it for them to order so the reel sat on the shelf.

Cool little shop, Mat was nice and knowledgeable and fixed my reel in ten minutes. Was about to send it into Shimano in California, really glad I didn't. Definitely go here for any repairs!

Mat did a WONDERFUL job on 4 Abu Garcia reels I had sent him. He totally broke down my reels into their components, cleaned, lubed, upgraded my drag washers, upgraded my bearings and upgraded other "wear and tear" parts. The results were more than I expected when they were returned to me! Mat stayed in touch with me when he received the reels, gave me an E.T.A. on their completion, contacted me upon completion and had them done and shipped back to me a week sooner than I expected! I am overly happy with Mat's Reel Repair and highly recommend their services!

Very meticulous and calibrated repairs. Reel came back very clean and finely oiled. To my surprise, the cost was far cheaper than I what I expected. When quality is important, this is where to go. I had my reel back extremely quick and packaged nicely.
